連詞 and 的用法
1、表示聯合，意為「和，又，而且」
He and I are both students．
他和我都是學生。
2、用於連接兩個相同的比較級，表示「越來越…」
It moves faster and faster．
它動得越來越快。
3、用於連接兩個相同的動詞，表示動作的反覆或連續
He coughed and coughed．
他咳個不停。
4、在口語中用於come，go，run，stay，stop，try等之後，表示目的
（and 在此相當於不定式符號to）
Come and have a Iook.
來看一看。
5、用於祈使句後，表示結果
意為「那麼」
Work hard and you'II pass the examinations.
努力吧，那麼你會通過考試的。
and 與 or 用於否定句中的區別
1、當舉例成分是主語，又在否定詞之前時，用and連接
而當列舉成分在否定詞之後時，用or構成完全否定
Lucy and Lily can't speak Chinese.
露西和莉莉都不會說中文。
I can't sing or dance.
我不會唱歌，也不會跳舞。
2、在否定句中，如果所連接到兩部分都有否定詞，那麼用 and 而不用 or
There isno waterandno airon the moon
月球上沒有水，也沒有空氣。
3、在否定句中，without之後若有列舉成分，則用and連接，構成完全否定
而在肯定句中，without之後的列舉成分要用or連接才能構成完全否定
Man can't live without air and water.
=Man will die without air or water.
沒有空氣和水，人就不能生存。
