receive和accept,fit和suit的區別

1.receive和accept

(1)receive意為「收到，接到」（信、包裹等）等，並不表示「接受」

(2)accept意為「接受，同意」（邀請、建議等）

I havereceived his invitation card but I will not accept it. 我已經收到他的邀請卡，但是我不會接受的。

2.fit和suit

這兩個詞都可以作及物動詞，意為「適合」，但用法有所不同。fit指的是尺碼、大小的「適合」，suit則是指款式、花色、程度的「適合」。

This pair of shoes does not fit me. 這雙鞋我穿不合適。

Red and black are colours thatsuit him very well. 紅黑兩色是很適合她的顏色。
