The door remained locked.
Don't get excited, boys and girls.

He looked tired with cooking.
He got laughed at at school.

He found the room was packed / crowded with people.
Everything is settled now. You can leave for Beijing.
The town is surrounded on three sides by mountains.
I am very interested in chess. (-ed
I was interested by what you told me.
He was dead drunk.
He is easily excited.
He felt cheated at the party.
In China agriculture is becoming more and more mechanized.
Conditions here are not what she's used to.
I am tired of boiled eggs.
Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen.
He is engaged in letter writing.
You looked astonished at the news.
It's nothing to get excited about.
You'll soon get used to the change of climate.
I'm feeling tired out.
