今天的天氣特別好，萬裡有一朵小雲，飄著一點點微風。於是我輕輕的走到了那片雲的下面，因為我要引出今天的詞組under a cloud。
「under」是在下面，「cloud」是雲，那「under a cloud」是啥？
1. Under a cloud
「under a cloud」是「在雲下面」嗎？你猜是好事還是壞事呢？
Under a cloud的英文解釋：It means you are not trusted or popular because people think you have done something bad.
字面看上去雖然看起來就表示在雲下面，但是它經常被引申為不被信任，被懷疑做了什麼壞事的時候，比如你看看下面這個案子：
①The teacher is under a cloud because the inspectors found that he took bribes.
老師受到懷疑，因為檢查人員發現他受賄。
如果經常看偵探片，或者是警匪片的小夥伴，經常會聽到下面這句話。在沒有找到真正的殺手之前，我們都有嫌疑，你可以這麼說：
②We're all under a cloud until the real killer is found.
在找到真正的兇手之前，我們都有嫌疑。
③Someone stole some money in the office, and now everyone is under a cloud of suspicion. Even the director is under a cloud.
有人在辦公室偷了一些錢，現在每個人都有嫌疑。就連總監也不例外。
2. Under one’s wing
好了，現在從雲的下面，咔咔輕輕地走出來了，然後找到了一隻鳥，把我的頭放在了她的翅膀下面。
又引出下一個詞組，under one's wing。
其實這個詞組意思很好猜，wing是表示翅膀的意思，在中文中我們經常會說，把孩子護在羽翼之下，也就是表示關心照顧某人。
比如說很多人羨慕的富二代，他們就一直是在自己父母的精心照料下成長為又一個富豪。
①- Tomorrow is my first day at work. I feel a little nervous.
- Come on, your brother is the CEO of the company. You are under his wing.
- 明天是我第一天上班。有點小緊張。
- 拜託，你哥是公司的CEO，有他庇護你！（怕個啥？）
②I『m grateful to my aunt. She took me under her wing since my parents died in a car accident three years ago.
我很感激我的姑媽。自從我父母三年前死於車禍以來，她一直照顧著我。
