CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala Evening is a comprehensive art gala organized by CCTV on New Year's Eve every year to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It first originated in 1979, and was later adopted and promoted as a national project in 2014. The evening programme covers a variety of art forms such as comedy sketches, songs, singing and dancing, acrobatics, magic, opera, cross-talk drama, etc., bringing the live audience and the audience in front of the TV into the cultural carnival, creating a festive scene where "all the world celebrates together".The gala will start live at 20:00 on 11th February (Chinese New Year Eve) this year, and viewers will see many Chinese traditional culture elements in the gala. Shaolin Kungfu from 2019 Gala
