把英語rotate day off,shift說成英語

一、「用」中文學英語的「尷尬」

在「把英語學成中文」的學習模式中，或者叫「只用中文學習英語」的傳統模式中，英語we rotate day off和we rotate shifts in our company是只會分別「處理」成中文「我們公司是輪休」和「我們公司是輪班制」的。於是乎，你「用」中文學到了兩句「實用英語」：rotate day off和rotate shifts，似乎「很滿足」：只要記住英語rotate day off和rotate shifts，今後想說英語「輪休」「輪班」就「絕對沒問題了」。

遺憾的是，你這個只會「用」中文學來，只會「用」中文理解，只會「用」中文記憶的英語常常話到嘴邊卻「忘詞」了：這就是一個永遠只會用中文學英語的人學英語的「尷尬」。

二、把英語rotate day off,rotate shifts「學成」英語、說成英語

1) 我們看這段原版英語：

In a rotating schedule, employees work the day shift for one or two weeks and then switch to working the night shift for one or two weeks. This keeps all your operating hours covered while still giving your employees regular time off.

Okay.Got it.讀到英語employees work the day shift for one or two weeks and then switch to working the night shift for one or two weeks時，我們以後再也不會只能用rotate day off,rotate shifts表達「輪班」「輪休」了。

2) 我們的day off,shift rotation英語口語練習：

1.輪班：

Well,you know,in my company,we work 24/7(24 hours a day and 7 days a week).So we have to work the day shift,for example, for one or two weeks and then we switch/we change to working the night shift for one or two weeks.

就算你「忘詞」rotate shift(rotate這個詞好難記喲)，你這麼跟人溝通，人家一樣能知道你在說you rotate shifts的意思。

2.輪休：

Well,you know,in my company,we work 24/7(24 hours a day and 7 days a week).So we usually can not have fixed day off(always day off on weekends).We'll take day off=time off,for example,sometimes on weekends,and sometimes we'll have to switch/change to weekdays (Monday,Tuesdays, Wednesday,and so on) .

說好這些英語難道不也是「英語口語」嗎。難道只有「用上」rotate day off,rotate shifts在句子裡才叫「英語口語」嗎？不會用英語學英語，「忘詞」會坑死你。
