Molly：He gets up at nine o』clock. He is late for school.

Teacher：Good! What time do you get up, Daniel?

Daniel：At seven o』clock.

（when和what time用法辨析）

when和what time問時間，當詢問做某事的具體時間（鐘點）時，二者可互相替換。

For example:

- What time / When do you go to school? 你什麼時候去學校？

- I go to school at seven o』clock. /At seven o』clock. 我七點鐘去學校。

但以下情況不可以相互替換哦：

1、詢問鐘錶所表示的具體時間時，只能用what time而不能用when。

For example:

- Excuse me, what time is it? 打擾一下，請問現在幾點了？

- It’s seven o』clock. 七點了。

2、詢問事件發生的年份、月份、日期等非鐘點性時間時，只能用when而不能用what time。

For example:

- When is your birthday? 你的生日是什麼時候？

- My birthday is on October the sixteenth. / On October the sixteenth.

我的生日是十月十六號。

-When will he come back? 他什麼時候回來？

-He』ll come back tomorrow. 他明天回來。

Teacher: 總而言之，除了詢問鐘錶所表示的具體時間時必須使用what time，其餘的時間概念都可使用when引導的特殊疑問句。

Molly/Daniel/Joanna: We got it.

Teacher: What time is it now?

Molly: It’s five o』clock.

Teacher: Time for exercise. Do you exercise after school, girls and Daniel? When do you exercise?

Daniel: I usually do some exercise on weekends.
