The Third English Art Festival Closing Ceremony
在花海盛開的五月，在長假過後第一周的升旗儀式上揭曉了我校第三屆英語藝術節會徽，由此拉開了藝術節的序幕， 在美麗的楓葉的校園裡各項英語比賽活動熱火朝天地展開了。
With the blossoming May comes the most fantastic event of our school, the 3rd English Art Festival of Maple leaf International School-Shanghai. After the May holiday, the enclosure of its emblem in the flag-raising ceremony marks the official prelude to the 3rd English Art Festival. Since then, a wide range of English competitions have been organized in the beautiful campus of Shanghai Maple leaf.

第三屆英語藝術節閉幕式暨頒獎晚會是最激動人心的時刻。晚會由文藝演出和頒獎典禮兩部分組成，文藝演出在民族風韻和現代氣息的笛子與薩克斯演奏中拉開帷幕。一個個精彩節目逐個呈現，給現場觀眾帶來一場空前絕後的視覺盛宴。
配音比賽優秀選手的配音《鬼媽媽》給現場觀眾帶來了一場聽覺的享受；視頻製作大賽的優秀作品《Cheating Ball》展現了同學們的創新思維，帶來了現場的第一波小高潮；現場觀眾無一不被多才多藝的達人秀選手的舞姿所折服；四名最美聲音獲獎者的英文歌聲震撼和觸動了在場的每一位觀眾的內心深處；而我校中外老師合作的雙語詩朗誦 《再別康橋》，成為壓軸大戲，伴隨著悠揚的音樂，老師們的優美朗誦，獲得了臺下師生們的陣陣掌聲與喝彩。
繼而進行的頒獎儀式，主要表彰了在藝術節四大板塊：書寫大賽、視頻製作大賽、配音大賽以及達人秀比賽中表現積極、優秀的先進個人和班集體。晚會現場輕鬆愉快，和諧融洽，給第三屆英語藝術節畫上了一個圓滿的句號！
The night of May 26 is bound to stay in the memory of each Shanghai maple leavers. Hosted by ESL and undertaken by the student Union, the third English Art Festival Closing ceremony unveiled itself in the gym of Maple leaf International School- Shanghai and made a hit.
The closing ceremony composed of two parts: performance and awarding. Following the impressive combination of both western and eastern instrumental performance comes various programs: English dubbing <Coraline>; two pop dances; singing remix and drumming. After enjoying the poetry reading <Saying goodbye to Cambridge> by bilingual and foreign teachers, the ceremony came to its climax and everyone present in the party cheered for the wonderful performance.
Finally, School leaders and the ESL teachers announced and gave the awards to the performers in recognition of their talent and efforts in the 3rd English Art Festival of Maple leaf International School-Shanghai.

本次英語藝術節持續一個月，開展了徽標徵集、書寫大賽、視頻製作大賽、配音大賽以及達人秀等豐富多彩的活動，在我校得到了激烈的反響和師生的一致好評。同時本次藝術節堅持「樂中學，用中學」的思想，以「玩轉英語，挑戰自我」為主題，通過豐富多樣的競賽活動激發同學們的英語學習熱情，展示同學們的才情，提高學生的英語實際應用能力，營造良好的上海楓葉英語校園文化。
During the last three weeks, we held a wide range of activities and contests, such as English handwriting contest, dubbing contest, English talent show and English video making in the third English Art Festival. The English Art Festival this year won the widespread high praise among both teachers and students. By participating in these different kinds of activities and meanwhile by appreciating the beauty and the charm of the English language, students realize the fun of using English in activities, which definitely has profound significance and value.
