參加託福考試的同學們手頭都會有大約55套TPO可以用做練習資料，但是參加維立克口語面試的同學比較頭大的一個問題是沒有現成的資料，加上維立克口語面試的考察類型也跟託福口語有較大差別，這樣使得同學們在準備維立克口語面試時更加束手無策，今天跟大家分享近期參加維立克口語的一位同學在考試中遇到的題目，希望可以幫助到準備維立克口語的同學們。
1-2 minutes: Introduction and Warm-up question
- what is your name in English and Chinese?
- let's start today by talking about books you've read. Who is your
favorite character from the book?
- Does anything that (character's name) does in novel remind you
of anybody in your own life?
- Tell me about lessons from life xxx teaches you.
2-4 minutes: Picture description and discussion
- please choose one of the photos and describe what you see.
- why do you think the photographer take this photo?
- does this picture remind you of anything from your own life?
4-7 minutes: In-depth questions
- tell me about a teacher who you admire.
- what has the teacher taught you that you used in daily life / why
are the things you teacher has taught you so important to you?
- how do you feel when you speak with your teacher / how does
he make you feel?
- tell me about a time you lost the motivation to do something.
- what have you done to overcome this challenge?
8-10 minutes: Final question about academic interests
- what are you planning to study in university and why?
10-12 minutes: Two minute free speech (optional)
- before we finish, is there anything else you'd like to say? this is
your time for free speech.
雖然只有一次考試的題目，但是同學們可以根據這些題目做相對應類似話題的整理。比如，第一個部分問到喜歡的小說，同學們在備考時可以準備最喜歡的電影、最喜歡的旅遊經歷、最喜歡的運動、最喜歡的食物等話題；第二個部分可以準備方位詞、不同服飾英文說法、人的不同動作的英文說法等話題；第三個部分可以準備印象深刻的老師、家長、朋友、鄰居、書中人物、電影人物等話題；第四個部分可以準備國外學習必備技能、擇校原因、選擇專業的原因等話題。
