本次推出的AirPodsMax作為蘋果公司首次推出的頭戴式耳機，有銀色、深空灰色、綠色、天藍色、粉色五種顏色，國行售價4399元，即日起開啟訂購，12月15日發售。與之配套的耳墊配件是磁吸式可替換的設計，也是共有五種顏色可選，售價不低，為499元。
此之外還有與之配套的萌萌噠智能耳機套
此前發售的iPhone12不配充電器和耳機已經引起了網友們熱烈的探討，這次AirPods Max也採用了不配充電頭的策略，依舊引發了大家吐槽的熱情。
蘋果公司對於手機不配耳機，耳機不配充電頭的操作，給出的解釋是：
