1.駐貝爾法斯特總領館再次提醒旅居北愛爾蘭同胞注意人身財產安全
據外交部中國領事服務網援引貝爾法斯特總領館消息，近期北愛爾蘭進入傳統遊行季，遊行多發，總體治安良好但部分地段出現打砸案件。為保障旅居北愛爾蘭同胞人身和財產安全，駐貝爾法斯特總領館特別提醒：
請遵守當地法律法規和風俗習慣，及時關注當地安全形勢、警方最新提醒和遊行公告，時刻注意安全。建議出行時儘量避開遊行路線和集會場所，儘量避免圍觀遊行，儘量避免參加晚間篝火集會活動，以免遭受各類突發事件危及人身財產安全。如遇特殊情況，請在確保自身安全的前提下及時報警求助。
2.大阪一中國留學生被騙走110萬日元 日本警方正調查
據日本共同社報導，日本大阪府警方4日通報，住在大阪市的20多歲中國籍女留學生被冒充中國有關部門職員的男性等騙走了110萬日元。此類瞄準在日中國人的事件在大阪府等各地相繼發生，警方作為中國人團夥的新手法特殊詐騙事件，正在開展調查。
據警方透露，9到11月有自稱是中國的郵局職員和警察等的男女相繼打電話到留學生的智慧型手機，謊稱「你個人信息遭竊，被捲入犯罪行為」「會變成詐騙違法分子的」等，以保釋金等名義要求支付錢款。該留學生通過中國的家人向犯人方面的銀行帳戶匯款。
因無法與對方取得聯絡而感到可疑的留學生於11月向大阪府警方報警。
3.英澳最新：留學生接種疫苗就可大批返澳
澳移民部長最新消息：「留學生接種了疫苗就可以大批返澳，無需隔離！」
據《The Advertiser》報導，疫苗可以幫助成千上萬的留學生在2021年大批返回澳洲，從而重振這個價值400億澳幣的產業。
澳聯邦政府在10月份宣布了一項新的邊境政策，所有境外旅客需要使用一種新的電子入境卡。這將取代之前的紙質入境卡。
留學生需要通過這個電子卡，來證明他們已經在海外接種了新冠疫苗，那麼就可以無需檢疫隔離，直接進入澳大利亞。

Universities in China should make sure departures of students heading home for winter vacation are staggered and make proper arrangements for those staying on campus amid increasing risks of COVID-19 cluster infections, the Ministry of Education said on Tuesday.
教育部12月1日表示，今冬明春發生局部聚集性疫情風險加大，高校放寒假要堅持"錯峰"原則，安排學生分批次有序離校，妥善安排留校師生寒假生活。
There have been confirmed COVID-19 cases in multiple regions on the Chinese mainland in the past month.
過去一個月，國內多地出現新冠肺炎確診病例。
Local education authorities, universities and schools should realize that this winter and next spring are critical in pandemic prevention and control, and they should strictly implement containment measures, the ministry said in a notice.
教育部在一則通知中表示，各地教育部門、各高校和中小學校要深刻認識今冬明春是疫情防控關鍵時期，要嚴格落實校園疫情防控措施。
They should strengthen management of events involving large gatherings of people and sanitize important locations such as classrooms, canteens and dormitories to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, the notice said.
要加強聚集性活動管理，做好教室、食堂、宿舍等重點場所衛生管理，防範新冠肺炎疫情與其他傳染病。
They should also actively prevent the virus from spreading through cold-chain food by offering strict training to staff members responsible for purchasing food and conducting emergency drills, it said.

Schools and universities should also make early preparations for the spring semester, it added.

Fewer days of air pollution
空氣重汙染同比減50%
People in China have seen fewer days with air pollution compared with last year, thanks to the wider promotion of clean energy and reduction in polluting emissions, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said on Monday.
生態環境部11月30日表示，由於清潔能源的廣泛推廣和汙染排放的減少，我國的空氣汙染天數比2019年同期減少。
Data from the ministry showed that both the frequency and intensity of air pollution have decreased this year.

On polluted days since fall, the average density of PM2.5 dropped by 8.2% from last year, to 167 micrograms per cubic meter.

Between Oct 1 and Nov 26, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cluster and surrounding areas experienced 17.4% fewer polluted days than during the same period last year, the ministry said.

Ministry spokesman Liu Youbin said heavy pollution was also largely reduced.Since fall started, China has experienced two rounds of heavy pollution, a 50% reduction year-on-year.

A bronze horse head sculpture, a treasure from China's Old Summer Palace that went missing after an Anglo-French allied forces' looting 160 years ago, returned to its original palace home Tuesday.
12月1日，圓明園馬首銅像正式回歸。160年前，英法聯軍搶掠焚毀圓明園後，該文物流失海外。
It is the first time that a lost important cultural relic from the Old Summer Palace, or "Yuanmingyuan," has been returned to and housed at its original location after being repatriated from overseas.

China sees 9.1M new grads

Amid a global employment winter mainly due to the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic, China is implementing new measures to address the challenge posed by a record number of college graduates next year, the Ministry of Education said on Tuesday.
教育部12月1日表示，受新冠疫情影響目前全球處於就業寒冬，明年我國高校畢業生總規模將創新高，有關部門正部署新舉措來應對挑戰。
Roughly 9.1 million students are expected to graduate next year, an increase of 350,000 over this year, the ministry said.
教育部表示，2021屆高校畢業生總規模預計約910萬人，同比增加35萬。
In a video conference held by the ministry and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, both ministries called for strong efforts from local governments and higher education institutions to help more graduates find jobs.
在教育部和人力資源社會保障部共同召開的視頻會議上，兩部門要求各地各高校要千方百計促進2021屆高校畢業生充分就業。
The Education Ministry encouraged local education authorities and colleges to look for more opportunities in strategically important emerging industries and modern service sectors. It also urged graduates to work at the grassroots level and apply to enlist in the Chinese armed forces.

More HIV cases in elders
老年人愛滋感染者增加
Elderly people have become the group that saw the fastest growth in reported HIV infections in China, with a 500% increase in the number of newly reported HIV/AIDS cases among men aged 60 or above between 2010 and last year, the World Health Organization said on Tuesday, World AIDS Day.
世界衛生組織在12月1日世界愛滋病日當天表示，老年群體成中國愛滋病感染者報告數年增長率最高群體，2019年當年新診斷報告的60歲及以上男性愛滋病感染者人數較2010年增加了500%。
Around 37,000 people aged 60 or older in China were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS last year－77% of them being men－accounting for 25% of the total number of reported new HIV cases, WHO said.
中國2019年新診斷報告的60歲及以上愛滋病感染者人數為3.7萬例，佔當年新報告所有感染者的25%，其中77%為男性。
Unprotected sex was the major cause of HIV infections among elderly men.

In all, 150,000 people in China were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS last year, and the total reported number of people living with HIV/AIDS reached 960,000 by the end of last year, WHO said.

Ctrip, an online travel agency, said that after a video of Tamdrin, a 20-year-old ethnic Tibetan man from Litang county in Sichuan province's Garze Tibetan autonomous prefecture, went viral online last month, the number of searches for Litang soared.

Arecibo Observatory collapses

The instrument platform of the 305-meter telescope at Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico collapsed overnight, according to the National Science Foundation.

US President-elect Joe Biden on Monday unveiled his economic team, nominating Janet Yellen, former Federal Reserve chair, to lead the Treasury Department.

If confirmed by the Senate, Yellen would be the first woman to serve as US treasury secretary in the department's 231 years of history. She would also be the first person to have served as treasury secretary, chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, and chair of the Federal Reserve.

Scotland has become the first country to allow free and universal access to menstrual products, including tampons and pads, in public facilities, a landmark victory for the global movement against period poverty.
