你很可能會意識到，這花費的時間超過了你實際擁有的時間，你最終只能呆呆地盯著稿紙，等著截稿日期日益逼近。
四級詞彙講解:
本句的主幹是並列句，由and連接兩個分句。第一個分句的主幹結構是you will believe，其中，thatthis...you actually have是由that引導的賓語從句，作believe的賓語，該賓語從句的句型結構是「more...than+(that)從句」，表示「遠非，超過」;第二個分句的主於結構是you will end up。
as the deadline draws near是由as引導的時間狀語從句。end up doing sth.是「結束做某事」的意思.如:
At first he argued it wasn't his fault, but he ended up apologizing.一開始他爭辯說不是他的錯，但最後還是道了歉。
stare at sb./sth.是「對(某人/某物)盯著看」的意思。如:
He has been staring at her since she came in the room.自從她進了門，他就一直盯著她看。
deadline的意思是「最後期限」draw的意思是「向(某方向)移動」，可以引申為「臨近，接近」。
英語四級考點歸納:
more than和more...than通常被翻譯成「超過，比……多」，但有時候，它們並不表示比較，且在不同的句型中有不同的含義。
※ "more than+名詞」表示「不止，不僅僅是」。如:
He is more than her business partner.他不僅僅是她的生意夥伴。
※ "more than+形容詞或動詞」用來加強語氣，表示「非常，很」。如:
She is more than beautiful.她美得無法形容。
※ "more...than + that從句"， that可以省略，表示「遠非，超過」。如:
The work is more difficult than ( that ) I can imagine.這項工作的難度遠非我所能想像的。
※ more...than表示「與其說……，倒不如說」。如:
She is more frightened than hurt.與其說她傷著了，倒不如說她受了驚嚇。
