how much 作為常見的特殊疑問詞組，意為「多少」表數量，後面接不可數名詞，也可單獨使用
1.用來詢問事物的數量，後接不可數名詞。
如：
How much water is there in the glass?
玻璃杯裡有多少水？
How much rice is there in the bowl?
碗裡面有多少米飯？
2.用來詢問事物的重量。
如：
How much do you want to buy?
你想要買多少？
Three kilos.三公斤。
How much does the dog weigh?
這頭豬多重？
Five kilos.五公斤。
用來詢問數字計算的結果，相當於what。
如：
How much is two plus thirteen?
二加十三等於多少？
It's fifteen.等於十五。
4.how much 意為「多少錢」時，可單獨使用，也可構成詞組how much money，但英語中常省略money，用來詢問某物的價錢、價格。
如：
How much is your coat?
你的外套多少錢？
How much (money) did you pay for these apples?
買這些蘋果，你付了多少錢？
注意：
（1）how much 後接be動詞時，be 是單數還是複數，取決於be之後的名詞。如：
How much are the parrots?
這些胡蘿蔔多少錢？
How much is this coat ?
這件大衣多少錢？
（2）how much詢問價格時，它的回答若是中國的貨幣單位應採用漢語拼音yuan,fen來表示，幾角常採用幾十分來表示，字母用小寫，且不用複數。
如：
How much is the eraser?
這塊橡皮擦多少錢？
Ninety two fen.九角二分。
