  Many of us think of happiness as aluxury but actually it is easy to makesmall, positive changes to your lifeto boost your happiness levels.

  When you were a kid, happiness wasas easy as cuddling a puppy. Fast forward totoday and happiness is more about makingmoney and materialism than truly enjoyingyourself. Whilst nothing would make mesmile as much as a massive pay-rise, moneycan't buy happiness. Your bank balance dependsentirely on your salary but your happinessbalance depends solely on you. Let'sface it - nobody else can make you happy.Happiness is something you have to createfor yourself.

  1 Exercise more  多些運動

  Living a healthy lifestyle makes you happy and the best boost of all comes from exercise.Exercise makes you feel good about yourself and promotes feelings of well-being and happiness.Connecting with nature is also associated with joy and contentment, so take a hike ina park, or go swimming in a lake. No matter what you do for exercise, enjoy it!

  2 Get rubbed the right way  用良好的方式按摩

  Go for a massage at least once a week. A 30-minute massage is not very expensive and isgreat for relieving stress and improving your mood. A good massage is a definite happinessbooster.

  每星期至少做一次按摩。一次三十分鐘的按摩花不了多少錢,但卻能緩解壓力,釋放心情。一次不錯的按摩絕對是獲得快樂的良劑。

  3 Start the day positively  積極地開始每一天

  Heading to work on Monday morning can seem awfulbut starting off in the right way can make the morningsa little more rosy. Before leaving for the office, get somefresh air, have a bath, eat a good breakfast. Sure, you'llhave to get up a little earlier, but it will be worth it. You'llbe in a good mood by the time you start work. Also, achange to your work space, such as a bunch of flowers,a poster or some photos will make your time at workmore enjoyable.

  Think back on the things that gave you joy as a child or teenager and do something youenjoyed as a kid that you have not done for years or decades. You don't always have to bedignified, mature, adult and serious - especially when you are alone. Dress up in somethingwacky, blow bubbles, jump in a sprinkler etc. Do anything that will give you a good laugh.

  With mobile phones, the internet and television,it's hard to make regular time for yourself.Schedule some chill-out time, just likeyou would a doctor's appointment. Thenturn off your mobile phone and indulge inyour favorite activities. Don't let anythinginterfere. Enjoy.
