Snows Of Kilimanjaro/
What he saw was as big as the whole world. It was incredibly white in the sunshine. It was the top of Kilimanjaro's square hill. So he realized that was where he was going.
Kilimanjaro, the "African Roof", is the highest peak in Africa and is known as the King of Africa. Kilimanjaro Mountain is located in the northeast of Tanzania and south of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa, about 160 kilometers south of Nairobi, about 225 kilometers south of the equator and 3 degrees south latitude. It is a watershed between Tanzania and Kenya, a snow mountain and a volcano. As Hemingway describes it, the perennial snow on the top of Kilimanjaro is the only snow peak on the equatorial line, especially in the vast grasslands of East Africa./吉力馬札羅,「非洲屋頂」,是非洲最高的山峰,被稱為非洲之王。
Great Migration, Natural Choice/
You have to talk with the sun, the moon, the stars, the rivers, the lakes and the sea, shake hands with each tree, and grind with each straw-eared temple. Only then can you realize the great universe, the small life and the near death.
Natural selection and survival of the fittest are the laws of Darwin's theory of evolution. Perhaps it is not intuitive in human society, but in the animal world, it is absolutely true all the time. Looking for food, fighting, breeding, chasing, nurturing... Every link is not a drill, but a contest for life and a hymn. Every September in East Africa, there is a surge of life. Millions of animals run over the vast grasslands and migrate from Serengeti Park in Tanzania to the Masai Mara Animal Reserve in Kenya. This huge and spectacular animal migration is not only a search for food, but also a fight between life and death, between predators and prey. Zebras, wildebeests, antelopes and lions, cheetahs, crocodiles, these predatory beasts are playing out all the time. This dangerous and singing scene is called "the paradise of heaven". Crossing the Mala River, it is a rebirth of Nirvana. Jack London said that the ultimate aim of life is the ecstasy of life. When the Masai Mara prairie is dyed golden by the morning sun, when the Mara River rolls up the sand and dust that drifts to the other side of life, we can understand the true meaning of this sentence./自然選擇和適者生存是達爾文進化論的規律。
Safri ——
From horses crossing stormy rivers to lions crossing grasses and sneaking into unconscious prey, from overlapping the shores of alkaline lakes at sunset like neon flamingos to seeing vultures tear apart animal flesh and hyenas bite the bones of wild animals. —— Lonely PlanetThese scenes are either exciting or palpitating, leading to a sense of crime. This is a safari, which goes deep into primitive nature and witnesses the beauty of wild and uninhibited Africa./從大群角馬橫渡怒濤洶湧的河流,到獅子穿過草叢,潛近毫無察覺的獵物;從眺望日落時分鹼水湖畔層層疊疊,恍若霓虹的火烈鳥,到目睹就兀鷹撕裂動物血肉和鬣狗咬碎野獸骨頭。
Safari is not a pure English word, but originated from Swahili, meaning "travel". There is also an Arabic definition of "a journey". It was William Cornwallis Harris, a British knight, who came to live on the African continent in 1836 and became known to the public. Kenya is the birthplace of all hunting trips. From the beginning of the last century, during the colonial period of European navigation, people brought to Africa symbols of hunting and bragging about their aristocratic lineage. "Safari" has evolved into a cross-continental tourism or hunting trip. Africa is known for its wildlife hunting activities around the world, and is regarded as a "hunting paradise" by rich businessmen in Europe and the United States. Nowadays, "Safari" has become a general term for African travel, translated as "hunting", referring to taking a specific car to closely track animals, absolutely prohibiting hunting./Safari本不是純正的英文單詞,最早來源於斯瓦西裡語,意為「旅行」。
Great Rift Valley of East Africa/
The East African Great Rift Valley, the largest fault zone on the world's continent, looks like a huge scar in satellite photographs./東非大裂谷(East African Great Rift Valley)是世界大陸上最大的斷裂帶,從衛星照片上看去猶如一道巨大的傷疤。
Many people think it is a deep, long, dark crack, but when you really step on the scar of the earth, you will find that it is not a scar, but a mark of God's preference. This Rift Valley runs through Kenya and intersects the equator, forming the famous "East African Cross". On both sides of the rift valley are lush vegetation and flowers, which connect with the endless grassland behind./很多人以為它是深不可測、狹長黑暗的裂縫,但當你真正踏足這道地球的傷疤上時,才會發現,它並不是傷疤,而是上帝偏愛的印記。
Kenya/
When you think of Africa, you probably think of Kenya./
Kenya is located in eastern Africa, the equator runs across the central region, and the Great Rift Valley of East Africa runs north and south. It borders Somalia in the east, Tanzania in the south, Uganda in the West and Ethiopia and South Sudan in the north. Kenya is one of the birthplaces of mankind. The human skull fossils unearthed in Kenya about 2.5 million years ago. In the 7th century AD, some commercial cities formed along the southeastern coast of Africa. Arabs began to negotiate and settle there. Swahili is the national language of Kenya, and English is the official language. Forty-five percent of the country's population believes in Protestantism, 33 percent in Catholicism, 10 percent in Islam, and the rest in primitive religion and Hinduism./肯亞位於非洲東部,赤道橫貫中部,東非大裂谷縱貫南北。
Nomadic Maasai/
In addition to thousands of animals, there is also a people that frightens lions, the Marseilles, who are one of the most famous nomadic tribes in East Africa./活躍在東非大草原的,除了成千上萬的動物,還有一個令獅子都感到害怕的民族——馬賽族,他們是東非最著名的一個遊牧部落。
Following the natural law of life, they keep the habit of sunrise and sunset, and graze in groups all year round. The Marseilles have always been the characteristics of the primitive tribes left over from the grasslands of East Africa. They wear bright red clothes, beautiful big earrings and necklaces, often with a stick in their hands. They are typical African tribal aborigines. They live in the African grasslands and jungles, accompanied by wild animals all the year round, but they generally do not interfere with each other and are at peace with each other. The symbiotic coexistence of many years has formed a specific tacit understanding and harmony between them. The traditional house of the Marseilles is like an upside-down cylinder. It opens a very small door, so that people can only bend down to enter, so that the owner can easily assassinate those who try to enter the house at home. The thatched hut is also the choice of the Marseilles./他們遵循自然的生活規律,保持日出日落的習慣,終年成群結隊地吃草。
Elephant Orphanage./
There are only two elephant orphanages in the world, one in Sri Lanka and one in Kenya. There are about 23,000 African elephants living in Kenya, where elephants are known as one of the "five animals" of the national treasure. However, due to man-made destruction, Kenyan elephants are dying of poaching, overgrazing and drought, and there are also many elephants in urgent need of rescue, otherwise they will die prematurely in the hot sun. Kenya Elephant Orphanage, named The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in English, was founded by Daphne in 1987 and established by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation./目前世界上僅存在兩所大象孤兒院,一所在斯裡蘭卡,一所位於肯亞。

Nakulu Lake is located in the volcanic zone and its water salinity is high. It is suitable for the growth of plankton as the main food of flamingos. In addition, there are about 450 kinds of birds in the garden, the most famous of which is overlooking from afar. It looks like a magnificent scene, beautiful and unusual, flying in groups. It's the flamingo. Flamingos, also known as big red cheeks, are well-proportioned, with black, white, rose and vermilion feathers. They like to flock together. They often gather 10,000 birds. Nakuru is not only a paradise for birds, but also inhabits zebras, gazelles, bison, baboons, water antelopes, hippos, ostriches and Black-faced monkeys.

Unlike traditional African orphanages, where children sleep in large dormitories, the new building limits each room to four children, providing them with enough space and natural light. Create a series of different social spaces, open public areas, provide quiet corners and quiet places for learning, reading or just relaxation./它與傳統的非洲孤兒院不同,孩子們都睡在大宿舍當中,新建築限制每個房間只能容納四個孩子,為他們提供足夠的空間和自然光線。

Fernando Torres Fernando Torres wants to build a private house in the natural environment of Ram Island./Fernando Torres/
He is passionate about architecture and enjoys contacting nature. Therefore, the designer proposes to build an organic building, seeking a balance between traditional skills and modern needs. In accordance with this requirement, all trees in the site are kept as much as possible in the design process. Similarly, efforts should be made to achieve peaceful coexistence with the environment throughout the construction process. The building is located on Ram Island, facing the northern end of the town, which is surrounded by vegetation and borders the beach on the southeastern slope. The forest is mainly composed of mangroves, which provide only a small open space between them, where many chirping birds live. These natural characteristics create a harmonious dialogue with the surrounding environment in the development and design process. And it is not completely isolated from the local residents. Its location provides a privacy space, which is formed and maintained by the natural environment./他對建築充滿了熱情,並喜歡與大自然接觸。
