這學期我們開了多門英文類課程，包含Speech and Debate (ENG-SD1, ENG-SD2, ENG-SD3), Spelling Bee (ENG-SPE1, ENG-SPE2), 和英文寫作(ENG-WRT1, ENG-WRT2, ENG-WRT3)。以下是英文組老師的的介紹：
Speech and Debate (Allen Zhang): 「Allen Zhang is a senior at A&M Consolidated High School, where he has been president of the Speech & Debate team for two years. He has participated in and won championships at various competitions on the local, state, and national levels. He placed third in UIL State for Congressional Debate and is ranked 3rd in Texas and 8th nationwide in Extemporaneous Speaking. He is also ranked 18th in Texas and 86th in the nation for Congressional Debate. He has qualified twice for the National Speech and Debate Tournament. Most notably, at the 2020 nationals, he placed among the top 30 out of 246 individuals. He looks forward to teaching his students the various types of competition as well as necessary public speaking techniques.」
Spelling Bee (Claire Wang): 「Claire Wang has been teaching spelling bee class in Chinese school since summer 2019. She enjoys teaching children the spelling bee techniques. Claire competed in the Spelling Bee since second grade. She went to the state level Spelling Bee competition at the Houston Public Media for the last three years in a row as the final winner of Zone Nine Regional Spelling Bee. She is the first Chinese-American girl in BCS to win the regional bee. 」
英文寫作 (Annie Zhang): 「Annie Zhang is a PhD student at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, studying communication and media studies. She graduated from UT Austin with degrees in science communication and chemistry. She has worked as the Science editor & reporter at her college newspaper, as well as at Cell Press (home to scientific journals like Cell and Immunity). In high school, she was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper. She looks forward to teaching students the fundamentals of writing. 」
