小學英語專題——序數詞

Ⅰ.序數詞：表示先後順序的詞。

1. 1-3，first  second  third

2. 4-19，相應基數詞+th。fourth  sixth  seventh  tenth  eleventh  thirteenth  fourteenth fifteenth  sixteenth  seventeenth  eighteenth  nineteenth  

特殊拼寫：fifth  eighth  ninth  twelfth

3. 20-90，y變成ie+th。twentieth  thirtieth  fortieth  fiftieth  sixtieth  seventieth  eightieth  ninetieth 

4. 21-99，只把個位的基數詞變成序數詞。twenty-first   fifty-fifth   ninety-ninth

5.序數詞縮寫：數字+最後兩個字母如1st  2nd  3rd  4th

基數詞變序數詞的方法：

基變序，有規律，

詞尾加上th。

一、二、三，特殊記，

詞尾字母t, d, d。 (first, second, third)

八加h，九去e ，(eighth, ninth) 

f來把ve替。(fifth, twelfth)

單詞ty作結尾，

ty變成tie，詞尾再加th。(twentieth)

若是碰到幾十幾 (twenty-one)，

只變個位就可以。 (twenty-first)

用法：

① 序數詞表示事物的順序，它一般跟定冠詞the一起出現在可數的單數名詞之前。

② 若序數詞所修飾的名詞被省略時，序數詞可以作代詞單獨使用。

The first boy is taller than the fifth.
