英語語法: 短語would rather…than…的用法

33. would rather…than…寧願……而不要……

用法：would rather…than…表示在兩者之中的偏向，「寧願……而不要……」，would rather和than後都可接動詞原形。

 

例句1：I would rather be a teacher in the countryside than be a salesman in the city.

我寧願去農村當老師，也不願在城市裡當一名銷售人員。

 

結構分析：I是主語，would rather be是系動詞， a teacher是名詞詞組作表語，in the countryside是地點狀語，than be a salesman in the city是比較狀語從句，其中in the city是地點狀語。
