The story of Qingdao Amerasia International School has been one of vision, infinite possibility, astounding achievement, and transcendence. When we opened our doors 11 years ago, we had approximately 50 students and 20 staff members. As we open the page on a new decade here at Amerasia, the 2021-2022 school year welcomes 18 new staff members, joining from the USA, Italy, India, Samoa, China, Serbia, Belarus, and China Hong Kong, 86 returning staff members, and over 250 students from more than 30 different nations! Holistic, child-centered, inquiry-based education remains at the heart of who we are. This year staff and students will strive to self-actualize and become the best versions of themselves physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually as our community of students, parents, and staff aims to create a more peaceful world through community action.
