Someone called himself or herself "A Hong Kong Citizen" yesterday released to the media a batch of files. Content of the documents clearly shows that Occupy Central has been planned and funded by some US institutions such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) behind the scene, and they have also helped train activists. Hence Occupy Central is a 100% Colour Revolution. What is revealed in the documents is really shocking.
As a matter of fact, since the start of the Occupy Central movement, relevant Central Government authorities have again and again reminded Hong Kong people of foreign forces' involvement to create trouble in Hong Kong. Just on the day before yesterday, in an interview with US media, our country's Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai pointed out sharply that some American individuals or organisations were found to have involved or even actively participated in recent affaires in Hong Kong, though they might deny it.
Hong Kong SAR's Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying has also more than once made a similar reminder in his public speeches, and said the SAR Government would make details public in an appropriate time.
In this regard, Occupy Central activists and their ilk have not only firmly denied but also retorted that Occupy Central was started by students and citizens who were not satisfied with the "decision" of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), nothing to do with foreign forces, that there was no activity of foreign forces in Hong Kong, and that all funds and goods were donated by Hong Kong citizens, etc.
Now, cold hard facts are before everyone's eye. The files provided by "A Hong Kong Citizen" clearly show that as early as eight years ago NED already started to carefully plan intervention in Hong Kong's internal affairs. Through some middlemen, it had roped in some scholars and young students, then it had funded them to do researches and studies on specific topics, to hold forums and train personnel. The goal was to start a political movement in Hong Kong when the time was ripe.
The files also show that last year when the issue of universal suffrage was put on the agenda and Occupy Central was initiated, the "black hands" across the Pacific Ocean did not restrain themselves and hold back but instead intensified their efforts more aggressively. Some institution funded by US Department of State had even sent personnel to Hong Kong to give "instructions", and their "contact" in Hong Kong was none other than Benny Tai Yiu Ting, one of the "Three clowns of Occupy Central"!
The files show that, in the latter half of last year, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) funded by US Department of State sent its vice president and two staff members to visit Hong Kong. Arranged by Kevin Sit, resident program manager for NDI's Hong Kong office, they met Benny Tai and other core members of Occupy Central. Benny Tai explained to the trio the Occupy Central plan in detail, and specially stressed on the "strategic significance" of Hong Kong in advancing democracy in China.
It is because of such so-called "strategic significance" of Hong Kong in advancing democracy in China that US institutions concerns spare no efforts to support Occupy Central. With ulterior motive, they see Occupy Central as a Colour Revolution, a strategic move to ultimately change the "colour" of China. It is because of this, they spare no cost to fund Occupy Central, incessantly sending in all kinds of goods. Foreign media also give Occupy Central prominent coverage. Even Joshua Wong Chi-fung, cursed by many Hong Kong parents, appeared on the cover of the October issue of Time magazine's Asian edition!
For a long period of time, Apple Daily's Jimmy Lai Chee-ying has acted as the "godfather of black money" to fund Hong Kong's opposition politicians and lawmakers on behalf of his US master. Facts in this regard have been exposed through various channels. The money distributed varied from $300,000, $1 million to $10 million. From the Democratic Party, Civic Party to the League of Social Democrats, from "political bishop" Joseph Zen Ze-Kiun, "Hong Kong's Conscience" Anson Chan Fang On-sang, "godfather of democracy" Martin Lee Chu-ming to "Long Hair", which one has not received "US aids" distributed by Jimmy Lai?
Occupy Central is not "civil disobedience" and has nothing to do with the election of CE by universal suffrage. It is rather a Hong Kong-version Colour Revolution planned, funded and manipulated behind the scene by US political institutions through and through. Students and occupiers who have sat on streets at Admiralty, Causeway Bay and Mong Kok for past 40 days, you have been "sold out" to act as anti-China and trouble making "cannon fodder". It is time for you to awaken and pull out, or it may be too late for you to regret it.
