十一、十二、十三屆市人大代表和政協教科文衛委員。曾獲「全國先進教育工作者」、「全國中小學教育家」、「江西省優秀中小學校長」「首屆中國(江西)十大傑出校長」「感動江西教育十大人物」「江西省十大人民滿意的實幹好校長」「首屆南昌市十佳校長」「首屆南昌市明珠教育獎」等,多次被評為「南昌市優秀共產黨員」「南昌市優秀教育工作者」等稱號,並榮登教育部校長培訓中心成立「30年30人」風採榜。
Principal Xu Jiancheng has extensive school management experience. During his 32-year principal's career, he has experienced special education, vocational education and basic education. He has held leadership positions in provincial key middle schools in Nanchang for more than 20 years, such as Nanchang No. 10 Middle School, Nanchang No. 19 Middle School, and Nanchang No. 3 Middle School. He is a really senior principal. He is also one of the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth Municipal People's Congress representatives and members of the CPPCC Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee. He won many awards and prizes, such as the "National Advanced Educator", "National Elementary and Secondary School Educator", "Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Primary and Secondary School Principal", "The First China (Jiangxi) Top Ten Outstanding Principals", "Touching Jiangxi Top Ten Educational Figures", "Top ten satisfied and hardworking principals of Jiangxi Province」, "The First Top 10 Nanchang City Principals", "The First Pearl Education Award of Nanchang" and so on. Principal Xu has been awarded "Nanchang Excellent Communist Party Member", "Nanchang Excellent Education Worker" and some other titles as well. He topped the list of "30 Years, 30 People" in the Headquarters Training Center of the Ministry of Education.
許建成校長辦學理念先進。2015年,教育部校長培訓中心在南昌舉辦「許建成教育思想研論壇」。他認為,學校要重視人「生命與健康、生存與發展、生活與幸福」,主張「多元智能」理論與「三生教育」理念相融合,「德、智、體、美、勞」五育並舉,「全面、全程、全域」三全育人,「培育有擔當的現代中國人」。在他擔任南昌三中教育集團總校長期間,積極響應市教育局集團化辦學戰略,努力踐行「百姓大三中」理念,讓優質教育惠及更多的百姓。
Principal Xu Jiancheng has advanced schooling concepts. In 2015, the Principal Training Center of the Ministry of Education held the "Xu Jiancheng Educational Thoughts Research Forum" in Nanchang. He believes that the school should pay attention to people's "life and health, survival and development, life and happiness" and he advocates the integration of the "multiple intelligence" theory and the "three-life education" concept. He holds the view that we should cultivate students on the five aspects of "moral, wisdom, physical, beauty and labor". Simultaneously, we need to educate people "all-round, whole-process, whole-region" and "cultivate responsible modern Chinese." During his tenure as the president of Nanchang No. 3 Middle School Education Group, he actively responded to the Group Education Strategy of the Municipal Education Bureau, and worked hard to practice the concept of "People's No. 3 Middle School", so that quality education can benefit more people.
