清華大學武漢籍學生張睿茹：「萬眾一心」不僅是國歌裡的一個詞，更是00後這一代人從小的記憶。
從2003年抗擊「非典」到2008年汶川抗震救災，再到今年抗擊新冠肺炎疫情，中國人民面對挑戰始終團結友愛。張睿茹自豪地說，正是這種愛讓最膽小的人也能成為最勇敢的戰士。

《疫情後，我讀懂了萬眾一心 》
I came back to Wuhan on January 10th and within these two months a lot of things happened and now I could finally sit down and talk about it.
我1月10日回到武漢兩個月來，發生了許多事。現在我終於可以坐下來聊聊了。
I watched my Dad close the door. It was a really cold night in dead silence and I was all alone at home.
我親眼看著爸爸關上門。那個晚上很冷，寂靜無聲，我獨自在家。
我的父母因為連續多日發燒，有了新冠肺炎的症狀，不得不離開。那是1月31日，武漢封閉的第七天。
我在武漢出生長大，直到18歲，然後考入了北京的清華大學。武漢是個好地方 生活豐富多彩。我在北京總是饞武漢的熱乾麵，還有街上人們大嗓門地用方言聊天。
But when I stood at home on the 31st of January, all that was gone. Before I arrived home for the Spring Festival, my parents and I had talked about making sure that we took a really good family photo during the Spring Festival holiday.
但1月31日，我站在家裡，空空如也。我回家過春節之前，還跟父母聊過，要趁著春節好好拍張全家福。
新冠病毒之所以有些可怕，是因為對人群的無差異感染，但也不完全是這樣。種種證據顯示老年人更易受影響，我不禁擔心父母能否挺過來，我們還能不能拍全家福。
他們離家那晚，我一直在哭。他們在醫院安頓下來之前，我也幾乎沒有睡。我第一次如此孤單。但我也是有獨立的能力的。我會做飯、會洗衣服。當然還會像年輕人一樣網購。但我那時意識到沒有關愛我的父母，我不知道該怎麼生活。
他們離家第二天給我打電話問我怎麼樣。我們視頻聊天了。我看到媽媽戴著氧氣面罩躺在病床上，爸爸一說話就喘粗氣。那時我就意識到，一定得自立。
多年來，我父母支撐起來的這個家現在落到了我肩上。我只能照顧好自己，不要讓他們治療的時候為我擔心。這也是我第一次意識到自己有多愛他們。這段時間以來，我發現有好多人跟我有類似的經歷。
我父母入院後兩周，我自己也發燒了，接受了隔離，要醫學觀察14天。幸好我只是細菌感染，不是新冠肺炎。
接受隔離的人們自然都很焦慮。我和其他病人接受隔離時，想到要完全與世隔絕就非常不安，不禁擔心自己會不會死在這。當時很混亂，醫護人手不足，物資也緊缺。雖然醫生護士都全副武裝，他們布滿血絲的眼睛還是透出了疲憊。
他們為了接納新病人要準備一整天，如果有缺漏還會非常抱歉。絕大多數病人都很理解，當然也有不理解的，還大聲抱怨。但醫護人員總能盡力冷靜應對。他們都是上海、廣州或其他城市來支援的，有的只比我大三四歲。
One thing I would not forget is that one day apart from our lunch set, we had Hot Dry Noodles. I was extremely happy when I saw the Hot Dry Noodles. Because for Wuhan people, Hot Dry Noodles was an indispensable part of our daily life. But after the lockdown, we were not able to buy any and we missed it so much.
最難忘的一件事就是有一天午餐加了熱乾麵。我看到熱乾麵就特別開心，對武漢人來說，熱乾麵就是生活的一部分，但是封閉之後就買不到了，大家都非常想吃。
後來我知道是一位深圳的志願者，聽說我們喜歡熱乾麵，就給我們準備了。他希望能讓我們有家的溫暖。醫護人員肯定都筋疲力盡了，也都很擔心被感染，但他們沒有表現出來。
隔離結束後，病人都衷心感謝了所有工作人員。但工作人員的回覆都是一樣的，"這是我們的職責"。中國人民面對挑戰，總能團結起來。
我是00後，2000年出生。三歲時我就會唱國歌，第一次聽到了萬眾一心。有的語言裡會翻譯成"無數人同一顆心"。
8歲時，我第一次知道了"一方有難，八方支援"，就是大家一起援助的意思。那時全國上下齊心協力，支援地震後的汶川。
但直到現在，我20歲了，才真的理解了這些詞的含義。中國人民齊心協力對抗新冠，全國各地的醫護人員紛紛馳援武漢。各個城市也都支援物資、食品。最重要的是，幾億人待在家裡，避免病毒擴散。
I am so proud that people in my country have all joined in this collective effort. It's natural to fear illness, death, and uncertainty, and it's also natural to feel compassion when we see others suffering.
祖國人民齊心協力，我非常驕傲。面對疾病、死亡和未知，我們都會恐懼。看到他人受苦，我們也會心生同情。
正是對他人的愛，讓最膽小的人也能成為最勇敢的戰士，承擔最重大的責任，甚至捨己救人。在對抗新冠疫情的戰鬥中，我在醫護人員、志願者、飯店老闆、公交司機以及無數人身上看到了這份愛。
我們現在的經歷固然很可怕。面對這場百年一遇的疫情，我依然選擇樂觀。因為我看到全世界人民萬眾一心，一起幫助他人。正是有了這些人，我才認為我們終有一天會戰勝新冠疫情。
我現在還很享受坐在桌前，跟朋友和老師一起上網課。看到感染人數下降我也非常開心。春天到了，爸爸媽媽也痊癒出院了，家裡暖和了不少。我們還要去照全家福呢。

法國通過立法禁止過瘦模特從業，
「紙片人」不再是時尚
France, which prides itself as the global innovator of fashion, has decided its fashion industry has lost an absolute right（絕對權力）to define physical beauty for women.Its lawmakers（立法者）gave preliminary approval last week to a law that would make it a crime to employ ultra-thin models （超瘦模特）on runways.
The parliament also agreed to ban（封禁）websites that "incite excessive thinness" by promoting extreme dieting.Such measures have a couple of uplifting motives.They suggest beauty should not be defined by looks （外貌）that end up with impinging on health. That's a start.And the ban on ultra-thin models seems to go beyond protecting models from starving themselves to death（餓死） — as some have done.

歷史首次，美國50個州全部進入「重大災難狀態」
All 50 US states are now under a major disaster declaration as the number of coronavirus deaths in the country has topped（高於）20,000.US President Donald Trump approved a declaration for the state of Wyoming on Saturday. The White House（白宮）says it is the first time in US history that all states have been under a disaster declaration at the same time.
Johns Hopkins University（約翰·霍普金斯大學）says the US had 514,415 confirmed cases and a death toll（死亡人數）of 20,071 as of Saturday at 8:00 p.m. UTC. Both numbers are the highest reported in the world. The state of New York is the worst hit, with one-third of the confirmed cases in the country.Governor Andrew Cuomo told reporters on Saturday that the state has seen a daily death toll of more than 700 for five straight days（連續5天）.

Luckin Coffee Inc, the so-called rival to Starbucks in China, has exposed itself to risks of delisting （退市）and even bankruptcy due to severe fabrication of sales data, experts said.The Nasdaq-listed Chinese coffee chain saw its share price crash more than 75 percent to $6.4 on Thursday, after the company disclosed its earnings results were substantially inflated（嚴重虛高）.
The aggregate sales associated with fabricated transactions amount to around 2.2 billion yuan during the April to December period last year, according to Luckin's preliminary internal investigation. The company said "investors（投資者）should no longer rely upon" these numbers. "Investors will probably bring a class-action suit（集體訴訟）against the company, which could lead to a massive amount of compensation（天價賠償）and bankrupt the firm.
