親們，今天在課堂教學中挖掘出了一個很好的語塊：be exposed to
這個語塊大家肯定很熟悉，但由於中文解釋的原因使得我們無法很廣泛地使用之。expose通常的解釋是「暴露」，那麼，be exposed to的意思就變成了「...被暴露在...之下」，這樣的中文理解是非常狹隘的，根本不能展現出該語塊的威力。
舉個簡單的例子Jack is an insightful man, because he is exposed to tons of books every year. Jack是一個很有思想的人，因為他每年都要閱讀大量的書。（直譯為：...每年都暴露在大量的書籍下。或者每年都浸泡在大量的書籍裡。）be exposed to在這裡就變成了「閱讀」的含義了，相信大家都能體會。
其實這個語塊還有一個更漂亮的變體，就是把expose變換成名詞exposure，比如上面那句話，我改寫成：Jack is an insightful person, which is attributed to his exposure to tons of books every year.Jack很有思想，這歸功於他每年巨大的閱讀量。
原創例句：
1）Children's excessive exporsure to the Internet brings about undesirable results.孩子過度上網會導致不良後果。（注意expose的這種變體用法）
2）The absence of independent thinking is high likely caused by people'sexposure to TV programs. 這種獨立思考的缺失很大程度上是由於人們大量看電視。
3）Everyday, we are exposed to a variety of toxic chemicals. Fortunately,our bodies are magically breaking them down and getting rid of them. 每一天，我們都在接觸各種各樣有毒的化學物質。但幸運的是，我們的身體神奇地分解他們並把他們拋離。
4）Benefiting from reforming and opening policy, Chinese people have been exposed to new ideas and thoughts. 受益於改革開放，中國人民接觸到了很多新的思想。
