分裂句是以it為引導詞的強調句型。句型是這樣的:It is/was + 被強調部分(通常是主語、賓語或狀語)+ that/ who(強調主語且主語指人)+ 其他部分。例如說It was Jane that/who called thismorning.
那為什麼在口語答題中需要用到分裂句呢? 那是因為分裂句可以起到突出強調表達重點的效果,保持句子平衡,使答題的邏輯性更強,清晰易懂,也更符合西方人的思維習慣。
