Linkin Park的《Numb》大家都很熟悉，這首將林肯公園的《Numb》和Jay Z的《Encore》混合的歌曲被收錄在Jay-Z和林肯公園合作發行的EP《Collision Course》內，於2004年11月30日作為專輯的首支單曲發行。2006年2月8日，歌曲獲第48屆葛萊美獎「最佳說唱合作」獎。
EP，迷你專輯（extended play），俗稱細碟，是一種介於單曲與專輯之間的音樂發行形式。通常意義上，單曲一般包含有1至3首曲，而迷你專輯通常包含了5至8首曲目。
《Numb/Encore》將Jay-Z的謝幕曲與林肯公園的代表歌曲結合，兩組無論是在曲風或其它方面都有所不同的藝人都保持了他們傳統說唱/新金屬搖滾和說唱的個人風格，同時又巧妙地將各自的風格融合在一起。林肯公園樂隊帶有憤怒情緒及略顯陰沉的歌詞與Jay-Z的硬式音樂相得益彰。
這一版是Explicit Version，保留了歌詞中限制級的語句。
無論哪個國家出的音樂，都可能帶有一些不可描述的歌詞內容，或者個人口頭禪之類，如果這樣的單曲要發行，一般都會在後面加上Explicit ；同時通過後期加工，把敏感內容給「嗶」掉做成Clean Version，稱為消音版，然後將兩首歌一起打包為一張EP再發行。
