(1)介紹背景。
T:In the last period, we know that Chen Jie is at Willow Primary School. She isvisiting the school. During her visit, we know about the teachers and subjectsin the school. Now we will learn about the school menu.
(2)教師用多媒體課件學校菜單,問:「What do they have on Mondays / …?」,學生根據菜單內容回答:「They have … on Mondays / …」
(3)介紹閱讀任務。
T:Today is Monday. It’s time for lunch. Chen Jie is in the lunch room. Pleaseread the menu and the dialogue. Then fill in the blanks.
(4)請一對學生站起來用問答的方式呈現答案。
(5)Role-play
學生同桌合作,在白紙上畫幾個盤子,每個盤子上面有各種食物。一位學生扮演服務員,一位學生扮演客人,表演情景對話,如:

2.Chen Jie’s diary.
(1)簡單介紹日記內容。
T:Chen Jie at Willow Primary School. She knows something about the teachers,subjects and school menu in the school. Then she writes a diary about what sheknows about the school. Let’s read the diary and tick or cross.
(2)學生自主閱讀日記,並根據日記內容判斷句子正(T)誤(F)。

(3)Find 「friends」 for the words in the diary.
學生從陳潔的日記中找出含有劃線部分讀音的單詞,師生一起核對答案,然後教師帶領學生把單詞讀幾遍,最後學生在四人小組內讀一讀,並相互糾正錯誤的發音。
(4)Rearrange the words. Write down the sentences.
學生給單詞排序,教師請三位學生讀一讀句子,並讓學生把自己喜歡的句子在抄寫本上抄三遍。

課堂練習——學生仿照下面的短文,用適當的詞代替畫線部分的詞,重新寫一篇小短文,並在小組內閱讀、評議。
