大學英語寫作常用句型：舉例句型

1.As a good example/illustration of..., we may see....

E.g. As a good illustration of the benefits the reform has brought to China, we may see the mushroomed residential buildings, modern supermarkets and advanced factories.

2.History/Our society is filled/abounds with the examples of....

E.g. History abounds with the examples of great men who made the normally wasted hours useful and productive. Thomas Edison worked out many inventions between messages when he was working as a telegraph-operator. Harriet Stowe, a mother of six children, wrote parts of 「Uncle Tom&39; paper while she was cooking the roast.

3.A good example of.../A good case in point can be best provided by....

E.g. A good example of the importance of self-confidence can be best provided by the case of Albert Einstein who published his theory of relativity when he was in his thirties. At that time, few scientists would accept this young man's idea. However, Einstein had great self-assurance and stuck to his discovery. As time went by, his idea on relativity gradually became popular, and has finally been adopted in the world.

E.g. Anyhow, whether the effect of euthanasia is positive or negative, it is certain that the legalization of euthanasia will bring serious moral and social problems to this world.

E.g. There is no doubt that great attention must be paid to the protection of the wild animals threatened by extinction.
