我的家鄉在廣州，那裡有美麗的東湖公園。荷花池在東湖公園的南面，她是公園中最漂亮的地方。
荷花池裡有好多的荷花，遠遠看去像幾個小點兒。近看小點兒變成了好美的荷花兒，有的還是花骨朵兒，有的花瓣全展開了，在一個個碧綠的荷葉襯託下美不勝收！蜻蜓飛過來，告訴我春天已經來到，小魚在腳下遊過，告訴我春日裡的故事是多麼的精彩和有趣。
春風吹著湖面，碧波粼粼的水紋，成了輕柔的琴弦，它仿佛彈著美妙的春天的樂曲。我丟下一把魚食在湖水裡，魚兒們就爭先恐後地來搶魚食，真好玩！
春天的湖心島，有許多人在閒遊玩耍，有的也在健身區裡鍛鍊身體。鳥兒們拉開樹簾，四面環顧後便歡快地高歌。草叢中的蟲兒們好像很配合似的也為這歌聲伴奏，給美麗的公園增添了活力。
這就是我美麗的家鄉，廣州東湖公園；我愛我的家鄉，我更愛我的家鄉-繁榮富饒美麗的花城廣州。
