注意：
neither...nor, either...or, not only...but also連接兩個成分作主語時，謂語動詞要和最近的主語保持一致，即就近原則；both...and連接兩個成分作主語時，謂語動詞只能用複數。
1. 引導時間狀語從句
連詞
含義及用法
when
「當……時」，引導時間狀語從句時,其謂語動詞可以是延續性的，也可以是非延續性的，可與主句中的謂語動詞同時發生，也可在其後發生。
while
「正當……時」，while引導的從句中，謂語動詞必須是延續性動詞，且常常用進行時。
until/till
「直到……才……」，常用在「not...until...」結構中，表示「直到……才……」。
as soon as
「一……就……」，主句用一般將來時，引導的從句用常一般現在時。
since
「自……以來」，後接表示時間的從句。
2. 引導條件狀語從句
連詞

if
「如果」，主句用一般將來時，引導的從句用常一般現在時。
unless
「除非，如果不」，unless可以轉化為「if...not...」結構。
3. 引導讓步狀語從句
連詞
含義

引導讓步狀語從句時，這些詞不能與but連用。

4. 引導原因狀語從句
連詞
含義及用法
because
「因為」，回答why引導的問句。
since
「既然」，語氣比because弱，表示原因是對方已知的。
5. 引導結果狀語從句
連詞
含義及用法
so...that
「如此……以至於」，引導結果狀語從句，常用句型為：
so+adj./adv.+that；
so+adj.（+a/an）+n.+that；
such（+a/an）(+adj.)+n.+that。
such...that
注意：
so...that...結構常與too...to...結構互換。
