梅西大學（Massey University）成立於1927年，是紐西蘭最大的綜合性研究大學，也是紐西蘭唯一一所真正的全國性大學。不包括遠程學生，梅西是紐西蘭第二大的大學。
主校區位於有「風車之城」美譽的北帕默斯頓北帕，直轄惠靈頓和奧克蘭兩大分校區，學生3萬6千多人，是紐西蘭擁有最多學生人數的高等研究學府。平均100個紐西蘭人中，就有1個是梅西大學的在讀學生。同時，梅西大學北帕主校區也是歷屆世界大學生運動會的火種採集發源地。
梅西大學在商學、獸醫、農業科學、工程、航空和藝術等學術研究方面極為出色，根據2010年英國泰晤士報對世界大學排名的評定中，梅西大學以綜合學術研究水平位居世界名校200強之內。其中梅西大學商學院，是紐西蘭最早時期獲得EQUIS（歐洲商學教育質量監控協會）和AACSB（美國商學精英協會）認證的學府（中國僅清華與復旦大學獲此認證），有紐西蘭第一商學院之稱，學院內金融專業被評為亞洲太平洋地區第一。
同時，梅西大學飛行學院也是紐西蘭國內唯一提供飛行專業，爭端仲裁和獸醫學的大學院校。其獸醫學學位，已經被美國獸醫學會所承認，因此梅西大學的獸醫學位不僅在紐西蘭國內被認可，同時也在美國，澳大利亞，加拿大和英國以及全世界絕大多數國家所認可及承認。這項榮譽在紐西蘭國內也是唯一的。
此外，梅西大學合併了紐西蘭國家音樂學院，成為南半球內音樂系人才最大的發源地。

申請條件：高中畢業（包括高考成績）並且至少完成一年的本科經歷，學生可以先去讀預科
語言要求：雅思6分（小分5.5）託福80（寫作19）PTE 50分 少部分專業語言要求高，預科：雅思5-5.5分 託福61-70分
