some和any的用法辨析

some 和 any 用在可數名詞和不可數名詞前。

some的用法：

1. 用在肯定句中，意為「一些（a few / a little）」

I need some advice on how to learn English words.

There are some books on the shelf.

2. 用在疑問句中，意為「一些（a few / a little）」

1）提問人預計得到回答是肯定的一般疑問句。

Have you got some homework to give me?

Are there some stamps in that drawer?

Didn't she give you some money?

2）表示請求，邀請，或建議的一般疑問句。

May I ask you some questions?

Would you like some tea?

3）特殊疑問句及選擇疑問句。因為特殊疑問句和選擇疑問句並不對some所說明或代替的名詞表示疑問。

Where can I get some buttons?

Do you have some pens or pencils?

any的用法

1. any用在一般疑問句中，意為「一些（a few / a little）」

2. any用在否定句中，意為「沒有一個; 沒有人（none）」

Are there any books on the shelf?

Is there any information about this subject?

There aren't any books on the shelf.

There isn't any water left.

3. any也可以肯定句中，意為「任何」

You can borrow any books you need from the school library.

You can take any of these.

註：由some-和any-構成的複合不定代詞和不定副詞，其用法區別多與some和any相同。

Something is wrong with her eyes.

There is not anybody in this room.

Have you seen it anywhere?

Haven't you forgotten something?（持肯定態度）
