Risk-taker is one of the top ten IB Learner Profiles. Risk-takers becomes of the daily routines of Phoenix City International Kindergarten. How do we express our risk-taker experience? Every Monday morning, we will have our Flag Raising Ceremony. Students will take on different responsibilities during the Flag Raising Ceremony such as MC, flag bearer, and flag raiser. After the ceremony we will have our kindergarten meeting, during that time our students will show their songs, dances, and role-plays to express their class styles. Every other Thursday we held our Special Activity. All students are risk takers, they are willing to see the map by themselves to find the activity location and complete the activity tasks on their own.
勇於嘗試Risk-taker作為IB十大培養目標之一,在鳳凰城國際幼兒的日常生活流程中隨處可見。每周一的園會,各班級勇於嘗試,通過歌曲、舞蹈、角色扮演等不同的方式展現班級風採。每周四的特殊活動,幼兒勇於嘗試自己看地圖尋找活動場地,完成活動任務。每周的升國旗儀式,幼兒勇於嘗試不同的角色,承擔不同的責任,I would like to be the MC, Flag raiser, Flag bearer.
In 2020 Ivy Cup International English Contest, students are risk takers, who love to present themselves and express their ideas. At the beginning of the contest, we all agree that, "We encourage children to participate in quality activities that are conducive to their development and self-expression. Don't worry about whether the child can get a place or not, more importantly, let the children have the courage to try. Every experience, no matter whether it is successful or not, is a valuable lesson for the child's life."
此次,面對2020年常春藤國際口語大賽,幼兒也是勇於嘗試在國際賽制的舞臺上展現自己。
參賽之初,我們的態度就是「有利於幼兒發展和展現自我的優質活動,我們鼓勵孩子積極參加。不用在意孩子是否能取得名次,更重要是讓幼兒勇於嘗試,每一次經歷無論成敗對孩子的人生都是寶貴的一課。」
