Step 2 Review

(2)Show the books 「storybook」 and 「textbook」 then read the sentences: I have a storybook. / I have a textbook.

Step 3 Presentation
(1)Teacher use 「I have a….」 Show the new words 「English book」 and 「Chinese book」. Then read it one by one.
(2)English book---T-shirt---shirt Chinese book---China---chair Let the students read them.
(3)Prepare a bag, 「Look, I have a big bag.」 I』ll put the textbook, storybook, English book, Chinese book … Then point to the bag and ask them what’s in the bag? Ask and answer this new sentence again and again. Make the students answer this question with 「Some books.」 「A Chinese book」 「An English book」
Guess! What’s in my exercise book?

T: Wow! There are many letters in it. Here is a puzzle game for you. You can find 5 words in it, who can?
(4)Listen to the tape.
Students put up the hands and answer the questions. I have some new books. I have some new pencils. I have a new ruler. I have a new bag. I have a new sharpener. I have a new marker.
Someone answers and read. Others listen and repeat.
Answer the questions and review the sentences. 「I have a new storybook. I have a new textbook.」
S: Some books.
Look at the PPT. Listen carefully and learn the new words.
Listen to the teacher carefully.
Pronounce the words.

Step 4 Practice

Step 5 Summary
Ask some students to read the new words and sentences on the blackboard.
Step 6 Homework
(1)Read the text and work in groups.
(2)Play the 「Guessing Game」.
Read after the teacher. Read in groups. Read in roles. Then practice the dialogue, at last act it.
Read the text together, ask four students to fill in the blanks. Then read it again.
Look at the blackboard and read the words and sentences loudly. Read the homework and remember.
