Notice for International students to postpone examination
因考試周壓縮，時間緊張，可能會有留學生申請緩考，先將緩考相關事宜公布如下：
Due to the week of examination is shortened, time is tight, some International students may apply for the postponement of the examination. So the matters related to the postponement will be announced as follows.
1.申請緩考是學生放棄一次補考的機會，在下學期開學時和補考的同學一起參加考試，緩考的成績即正考成績。學生如果緩考不及格或者緩考考試衝突的話，是沒有補考機會，必須直接重修。（學籍管理細則第二十條）
The students who apply for the deferred examination means to give up a chance of the make-up examination. They will take the examination together with the students of make-up examination in the beginning of next semester. The score of the deferred final examination would be recorded as that of the normal final examination. Those who fail deferred examination or the time conflict shall retake the course directly, and there is no chance of the make-up examination.(Article 20)
2.留學生若對已修課程成績不滿意(60≤課程成績<85分)，可於每學期前3周內辦理重考繳費手續。重考學生應參加該門課程的重新學習和期末考試。（學籍管理細則第二十二條）
International students who are not satisfied with their scores of completed courses (60≤the score<85) may go through the formalities for retaking the examination and pay the relevant fees within the first three weeks of the semester. Those who are permitted to retake the examination shall attend class of the corresponding course and take the final examination. (Article 22)
3.留學生應參加培養計劃規定的各門課程和各種教育教學環節的考核，考核成績及學分均載入學生成績管理系統中。補考、重學、重考成績按實際考核成績登記，畢業時歸入本人檔案。補考、重學、重考成績在保送研究生、獎學金評定等評獎評優方面不列入平均學分績點統計；學位授予資格審核等方面按課程最高成績計算學分績點。（學籍管理細則第十五條）
International students shall participate in the assessment of all required courses as well as various educational and teaching activities regulated in the education scheme of the undergraduate program; both the assessment results and the credits will be recorded in the management system of students』 grades. The scores of make-up examinations, retaken-course examinations, and retaken examinations, which are not included in the calculation of the Grade Point Average in some awarding aspects, such as admission of postgraduate qualifications and scholarships, shall be recorded and placed on students』 personal files, as the actual performance results. The Grade Point is calculated according to the highest scores of courses in the examination of qualification for degree conferment and other aspects. (Article 15)

Steps on Online Application for Delayed Exams for International Students
1.Log in Zhengfang Educational Management System, click the item 「Apply for Signing up」（報名申請）; Then move on to 「Sign up for Teaching Programs」（教學項目報名）.
2.Find the program of delayed exams ; Click the 「Application」 （報名）button.
3.Read the instruction, then click the 「OK」 （確定）Button.
4.There are 4 steps on the Application Page.
Step 1: Check the boxes of the courses that you need to apply for delayed exams.
Step 2: Write down your reasons for application of delayed exams.
Step 3: Upload the supporting material.(An RAR file is required if you have several materials.)
Step 4: Clicks the 「Submit」 button.
5.Back to the 「application for education items」 （教學項目報名）page, check the information of your application. If there are any mistakes, click the 「Quit」（退報） button for a new operation. Click the 「process tracing」（流程跟蹤）, you can get the information about approvals. The application for delayed exams will be effective with the approvals of the secretary of educational administration and the dean of teaching.
★Attention: After you submit the application, when you find 「over/pass」 （結束（通過））rather than 「awaiting review」 （審核中）in the process tracing, your application is successful.
