Radio-Tour對很多人來說是非常陌生和神秘的。除了那些公路自行車狂熱份子，參加職業公路自行車賽的車手，車隊工作人員，自行車裁判，自行車媒體工作者，賽事工作人員，賽事後勤保障人員，跟隨公路自行車賽進行過賽事觀摩考察遊的嘉賓等等，很多人或許都不知道什麼是Radio-Tour。
今天我們就透過中英對照的Radio-Tour常用語，來為各位玩家普及一下。
Radio-Tour――公路自行車賽事組織成功的關鍵要素
國際公路自行車賽是僅次於汽車摩託車拉力賽的高難度賽事，賽事的組織、競技乃至於電視直播都非常複雜，在每一個環節中一個必不可少的工具―Radio-Tour發揮了關鍵作用。Radio，或者更具體說通過無線電的通信，是公路自行車賽事組織成功的關鍵要素。多年來，公路自行車賽已經接受了這個無線電通信模式並賦予它非常漂亮的名字「Radio-Tour」。Radio-Tour提供了賽事中信息交流的重要平臺。Radio-Tour是公路自行車賽消息、公平競爭和安全的代名詞。
Radio-Tour在賽事的各個方面發揮著作用。比賽信息方面：Radio-Tour能第一時間將競賽官方消息發布給賽隊指導、賽事官員、裁判、記者等，保證賽事正常進行；比賽安全方面：Radio-Tour對所有參與者及時發布重要行駛指導和警告信息，如：提速，偏離，如：路面有坑，前方有障礙物等；遇緊急情況快速呼叫醫生、救護車、技術救援車等等；賽事技術協調方面：通過Radio-Tour，組委會、裁判或賽道指揮可以召喚賽隊指導、記者和其他官員，直接交換意見和仲裁；競賽的公平競爭方面：透過Radio-Tour唯一來源的信息，賽隊指導隨時調整比賽策略，指導賽手競技。
