考點一、should 的用法

(1)should 情態動詞 &34;， 多用於向對方提出、徵詢建議或表達一種預期，should = be supposed to do。should 沒有人稱、數和時態的變化。

You should get up early and do sports in the morning. 你應當早上早點起床做運動。

Children should help their parents with the housework. 孩子們應該幫助父母做家務。

(2) 疑問句和否定句

Should we shake hands or bowl when we meet for the first time?

我們首次見面時握手還是鞠躬？

What should I do for his birthday? 我應該為他的生日做什麼？

You shouldn&34;花費(時間或金錢）&34;人&39;t spend too much time (in) playing computer games.

不要花費太多時間玩電腦遊戲。

He spends lots of money (in) collecting stamps.

他在集郵方面花費了很多錢。

(2) spend 和 cost、pay、take 的辨析

主要從三個方面區別這四個動詞：動詞的主語；動詞的賓語；具體結構。

① spend 過去式和過去分詞 spent / spent, 主語是&34;，賓語是&34;， 結構 spend…on…和 spend…(in) doing sth.

② cost 過去式和過去分詞 cost / cost，主語是&34;，賓語是&34;，

結構：sth. + cost + (人) +錢。 &34;

This book cost me 50 yuan. 這本書花了我50 元錢。

How much did the car cost him? 這輛車花了他多少錢？

③ pay 過去式和過去分詞 paid / paid, 主語是&34;， 賓語是&34;，

結構：人 + pay + 錢 + for + 物。&34;

Tom paid 100 dollars for this pair of shoes.
