When you learn a foreign language, all four skills（listening, reading, speaking and writing) are equally important. To what extent do you agree or disagree？

聽力和口語技能，可以讓人們可以與外國人去自由地進行日常的對話（engage in daily conversations with foreigners)，交朋友（make friends), 對外國文化有很好地了解（have a good understanding of foreign cultures)。
好的閱讀技能（good reading skills), 使得學生們能夠自由地閱讀不同領域的學術期刊（read academic journals in different fields), 做學問（do research)；還可以去了解不同人們的文學作品（get to know different works of literature)，開拓人們的眼界（broaden people's horizons)。
寫作技能可以讓人們去撰寫文章(contribute articles), 傳遞自己的想法（convey their ideas), 甚至報告和論述；同時英文的郵件也是在很多工作中必不可少的（e-mails are indispensable in the workplace)，所以說寫作幾乎滲透在社會生活的方方面面（permeate our society and life)。
