Fairly means to quite a large degree. For example, if you say that something is fairly good, you mean that it is good but not very good.
Examples:

It's used to say that a situation or someone's behaviour remains the same, especially when it is boring or annoying.
Examples:
1. We always sit around and do the same old same old. Let's go out this week.
