一年過去，這次我們來講講「脫單」。
「脫單」就免不了提「單身狗」。long long ago的時候，單身其實叫單身貴族！黃金單身漢！！磚石王老五！！！如此高大上！！！而現在，叫作「狗」，「單身狗」。這中間到底發生了什麼。
單身狗一詞最早出自網絡社區，據說起源與大話西遊有關(主要情節是：《大話西遊》的結尾處，周星馳飾演的夕陽武士和朱茵在悟空的幫助下終於深情摟在了一起，夕陽武士看著悟空遠去的背影，說「他好像一條狗哎」，然後兩個人一起傻笑。鏡頭轉向悟空孤單離去的背影，悟空的表情很淡定，一臉輕鬆，像是放下了心裡的一個大包袱。其實這裡就用感情的波折起伏，引出了單身後的悲涼)。
那麼脫單用英語怎麼說呢, 我們來較為全面的總結一下:
可以簡單的直接說：I have a boyfriend/girlfriend .我有男/女朋友了。
肯定還有其他表達方式：
to be in love，戀愛了，表示狀態，基本都知道。
to fall in love，表示瞬間動作。
比如:It takes no time to fall in love, but it takes you years to know what love is.
一見鍾情只在瞬息之間，而對愛大徹大悟卻需要很多年。
have got one's better half，另一半比自己好，自謙。
better half:(informal) the person that you are married to, or your boyfriend or girlfriend 另一半（英語中指配偶或戀人）
to find one's significant other，突出另一半的重要。
to find one's true love，突出真愛。
be spoken for （already have a romantic commitment）
愛情關係已經確定的。（不是為某人發言）
例句：Ruby Lin is already spoken for.(She is already married or has a partner.)
林心如已經名花有主了。
be taken
指已有人擁有，心有所屬。（直譯"被拿了"）
例句：Jay Chou is already taken.
杰倫已被擁有。
Off the market (Taken. Not single. Someone whom you should leave alone. )
其字面意思是指東西「下市」了，常用來指某人結婚了或開始一段新戀情了，其他愛慕者們沒有機會了，相當於中文裡所說的「名花/草有主了」。
例句：Yo, dude. You'd better quit chasing after her, she's off the market.
老兄，你最好別追她了，她已經名花有主了。
Not available.
available 在英文裡可以指一個人還是「自由」的。例如如果有人說「I'm still available.」就是說「我還是單身」的意思。而 「I'm unavailable.或 I'm not available」自然就是「已有男/女朋友」的意思了。但現在有些結了婚的人戲稱自己是MBA，也就是「Married, But still Available.」的意思（看來想牆外開花的人還不少啊）。
例句：Wallace is not available anymore.
霍建華不再是單身狗了。
最後，說了單身，我們來個one more thing，告訴大家中國對於追愛的南北差異。
Single men from northern China are less inclined to be wooed by women than their counterparts from the south of the country, a survey has found.
一項研究發現，北方男性並不喜歡被女性示愛，而南方男性則相反。
Men from the north generally cannot accept women being more active in expressing love and starting a relationship, according to the survey.
該研究稱，北方男性一般不喜歡女方主動表白，比男方還要主動。
Released to coincide with Single’s Day last year and conducted by jiayuan.com, a leading Chinese dating website, the survey polled more than 85,000 single men and women throughout the country.
佳緣網（中國約會網站）在去年光棍節當天發布報告，對85000位單身男女進行調查測試。
It found the practice of women wooing men was least acceptable in three northern provinces－Heilongjiang, Hebei and Shandong.
其中，在北方三個省——黑龍江、河北和山東，男性對主動求愛的女性的接受程度最低。
In contrast, single men from the south, especially those from Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces and Shanghai, are more positive about the practice.
相反，在南方，尤其是浙江、江蘇和上海，男性對此則更積極一些。
