亞洲無疑是世界上最大和人口最稠密的大洲。因此，對現今的跨國旅行者來說，亞洲何處值得一遊可以算是一個難題。幸運的是，《孤獨星球》雜誌旗下的全球旅行專家已經歸納出了2017年亞洲最美景點榜單，集合推薦了未來一年內亞洲十大最佳出遊地。
專家們決定將中國西北地區的甘肅省選為最佳出遊目的地，部分原因是甘肅不僅「四通八達」且「景色被低估加之遊客相對較少」，而以城市美景享譽世界的日本東京南位居第二，印度的喀拉拉邦北部位列第三。
《孤獨星球》的亞太媒體發言人克裡斯•澤赫說道：

1. Gansu, China
中國甘肅
