第一類是關於事件的介詞。我們在日常學習當中經常遇到：
比如：
at noon 在中午
at night 在夜間
in the morning 在早上
on the morning of July 1st 在七月一日的早上
on a rainy day 在雨天
He won't come back before 5 o'clock.
Our manager will be back after one hour.
I have been here for an hour.
第二類是關於地點的介詞。
on 在……的上面,與表面接觸
over 在……的正上方,不接觸表面
under 在……下面(是on, over的反義詞)
in + 大地方
at + 小地 方
on +門牌，某層樓
例如：
Look!There is a bridge(橋)over the river.
Can you see the egg on the plate?
Your shoes are under the bed.
My uncle live at F12 on the fifth floor.
They arrived in Beijing at 12:00 and waited for a bus at the station to the hotel.
第三類是關於方位的介詞：
in 在...之內（某範圍之內）
to 表示在境外，不接壤
for 動身去某地
on 與某地相鄰，或在邊界上，接壤
above 在……上方
below 在……下方
