We considered taking the train instead of the bus.

把…看作、認為，當作…
I consider him to be a clever fellow.
我認為他是個聰明人。
People consider foxes as clever but sly animals.

(to be/as) 常常被省略：
Do you consider him a friend of yours?
你把他當你的朋友嗎？
Snails are considered a delicacy in France.

02considering
considering可以做介詞；連詞，是「考慮到;就…而言;鑑於」：
She's very active, considering she is in her seventies.
考慮到她已經70多歲了，他算很活躍的了。
Considering his age, his body is quite sound.
就他的年齡而言，他的身體相當健康。
介詞後跟名詞短語；
連詞後跟句子。
03considerate和considerable
consider有兩個形容詞，但意思不同。
considerate
考慮周到的;為(他人)著想的，體諒的，體貼的
He's considerate of other people's feelings.
他體諒別人的感受。
The patient has the right to considerate and respectful care.
病人有權得到體貼和尊重的照顧。
considerable
相當多(或大、重要等)的
A considerable number of people travel abroad.
相當多的人出國旅行。
The town is a considerable distance from the coast.
這個城鎮離海岸相當遠。
Students are under considerable pressure to do well.
學生們承受著相當大的要學習的好壓力。
