China's island province of Hainan has recorded 2.219 billion yuan in duty-free shopping by tourists from July 1 to 27, up 234.19% from the same period last year, the General Administration of Customs said. During the period, about 281,000 tourists visited the island, up 42.71% year-on-year.
海關總署近日表示，7月1日至27日，海關共監管海南離島免稅銷售金額22.19億元、購物旅客約28.1萬人次，較去年同期分別增長234.19%、42.71%。
