很多孩子的腦洞開掉之後，就再也合不上了。尤其在學了雅思口語之後，什麼事兒都能聯繫到一起。比如「好消息」可以是「有一次跟朋友吃飯」，趁機向心愛的女孩兒表白，然後女孩兒say yes了!「好消息」還可以是「有機會去夢寐以求的地方玩耍了」，總之，烤鴨總是感覺一個答案只用在一個話題裡，太可惜了，於是就各種合併。我們來看一下下面的思路，就是把「課外活動」跟「好消息」搞到了一起：
好消息：
I』d like to talk about the good news I received when I was in high school, which is that I got into my school’s football team.
I went crazy the moment I got this piece of news.
Football has always been my greatest passion. When I was little, my dream was to be a football player. My grandpa and my dad usually took me to live football matches. It’s fair to say that I fell in love with this sport from an early age.
When I attended high school, in order to join the football team, I trained really hard after school. My idol is David, and his spirit always inspires me.
But sadly, I didn’t get in the first year.
However, I was not a quitter. I tried harder the second year, but I still failed.
To be honest, I was a little frustrated, maybe my competitors were too strong, but there was also a possibility that my skills were not that good.
I thought I might never have the chance to be in that team, but just at that moment, I got a call from the coach, he said that I could train with the team for several months, and we』ll see what happens after that.
I was thrilled when I heard this. That means I could finally have the opportunity to receive professional training and guidance.
And I guess the rest is history, I successfully became a member of the team. So that’s the good news I』d like to talk to you about.
課外活動：
I』d like to talk about the extracurricular activity I did when I was in high school, which is playing football.
Football has always been my greatest passion. When I attended high school, in order to join the football team, I trained really hard every day after school. My idol is David, and his spirit always inspires me.
But sadly, I didn’t get in the first year. I was really frustrated, 『cause I put lots of effort into it. Several days later, surprisingly, I got a call from the coach, he said that I could train with the team for several months, and we』ll see what happens after that. I was thrilled when I heard this. That means I could finally have the opportunity to receive professional guidance.
During the time I spent on the team, I made quite a few friends, and we played football together during breaks every day. And at weekends, we would meet up at the football field, chilling out and enjoying ourselves.
After a few months, our skills improved dramatically, and my dream finally came true. I officially became a member of the team.
Now I think about that experience, I was still really proud that I could take part in some matches on behalf of my school.
有心的孩子們，可能還會想到要把上面的素材挪用到「something you do to keep fit」，是的，play football是項運動啊，肯定強身健體啊!於是大家改編起來把!
