2.第2句中的「表明居民貧富差距比較大」是對前面分句的說明，可處理為which引導的非限制性定語從句， 表達為 which showed a great wealth gap between residents0 如果逐宇對譯為 which showed that wealth gap between residents is quite big,則表達繁冗,且句子頭重腳輕。
3.翻譯第3句「雖然貧富差距是……，它還是引起了……」時，可以套用句型although...still...。「雖然貧富差距是.的問題」可逐字對譯為 although the problem of... is the one that every developing country has to face。
4.最後一句中的「為此」的意思是「為了解玲這個問題」，因此譯為in orderto cure the problem更達意，而不能簡單譯為therefore。「包括提高低收入人群的收人水平和完善社會保障制度等」補充說明「措施」用現在分詞短語 including raising...and improving...來表達。

The Gini coefficient is an index reflecting income distribution. The Gini coefficient in China was at 0.474 last year, which showed a great wealth gap between residents. Although the problem of wealth gap is the one that every developing country has to face, it still raises people’s concerns about China's development and social stability. Now, the Chinese government places a priority on reducing wealth gap. In order to cure the problem, the Chinese government has adopted a series of measures, including raising the income level of low-income people and improving the social security systems.
