4. Format: Male 4 Rounds Individual Play
5. Eligibility criteria
1) The top 60 players of 2010 China Golf Association professional golfer ranking.
2) The top 45 Chinese players and the top 31 overseas players of 2011
China PGA Championship Tour Q School ranking (all regular
members/full card)
3)The Chinese players ranking 46-55 and the overseas players ranking
32-43 of 2011 China PGA Championship Tour Q School(associate
members/half card, with 50% members to be invited in rotation for
each tournament which guarantees each associate member/half
card no less than 50% events to be invited for each season)
4) 3 players recommeded by China Golf Association.
5) 6 players for each tournament to be recommended by sponsors, may include junior and amateur players.
Note: If the enrollment is less than 156 players in its field for each tournament,the associate members NOT listed for the tournament will be invited to play in sequence. If the field is still not reaching 156 players after all associate members/half card are invited, the other players from our Q School will be invited to attend in ranking sequence.
6. Exemptions
All players must attend no less than 50% tournaments of China PGA Championship Tour in each and every season to be entitled for the exemptions below as Regular Members/Full Card in the following season.
(1) The top 60 players of China Golf Association annual professional golfer ranking.
(2) The top 10 players on the annual Order of Merit of China PGA Championship Tour among all overseas players
(3) The champion of any one or more event.
(4) The top 10 ranked overseas players on our Order of Merit will have chances to participate in OneAsia events with purse more than USD1 million.
Note: Any player who fails to participate no less than 50% of our events will have to attend our Q school without exemption for the next season.
7. Format of play:
1. The tournament will use CGA approved 「Rules of Golf by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and USGA (2008 edition)」, and the Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee.
2. The tournament will be played over 72 holes (four rounds) of stroke-play.The top 65 players (including ties) from the first 2-day competition will qualify for the last 2-day play. Such rules also apply to all amateur players in the tournament.
3. In the event of a tie for first place there will be a 「sudden death」 play-off to determine the winner. If a play-off involves more than two players, those other than the winner will be deemed to have tied for the second place regardless of the outcome of the play-off.
4. The new groove and punch mark specifications will come into effect
as of 15th February 2011 on all tournaments hosted by China Golf
Association.
8. Chief referee & referees:
China Golf Association will appoint all referees.
9. Entry and registration
1、Entry application: All participants must fill up the entry form and send it to DYM International Sports Development Co. Ltd. by fax or email.

Note：Player must confirm his entry with China PGA Championship Tour Organizing Committee after faxing or emailing the form by calling the office. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any missing entry.
2 、Closing date: At the midnight on Friday 2 weeks before the tournament.
3、Entry fee: USD100/player，to be paid by cash when registering at the venue
4、Registration: Please proceed to the registration desk in the clubhouse lobby.(Please check the notice board for any possible changes).
10. Prize money and reward:
Total prize: no less than US$200,000.00/event
The champion will win a prize and be awarded a trophy. All professional players who enter the last 2 rounds will win the bonus corresponding with their position upon the tournament’s completion.Prize money allocation plan: please see appendix 1 (an example for a total prize money of USD200,000).
11. Order of Merit & Withhold Tax on Prize
For any winnings on our tournament to be counted towards the Order of Merit, a player, before the commencement of the tournament, MUST meet the following criteria:
a) Must be a Regular or Associate Member and have paid the Annual Service Charge, or as a professional golfer by invitation.
b) Must agree to pay the 20% withhold tax on all prize money.
12. Annual service charge
All players qualified for above eligibility criteria 1-4 and intend to participate in 2011 China PGA Championship Tour events MUST confirm to the Organizing Committee by ticking (Yes) on the entry form before 1st April 2011, indicating that he will pay USD200 Annual Service Charge by cash (along with the entry fee of USD100) when registering for the
1st event he attends at the venue. Any player missing the deadline to do so will be considered as 「waiving his own right to attend all 2011 China PGA Championship Tour events at his own decision」.
Note: For those Associate Members (half card) who are not invited, or those members who are NOT able to attend our 1st event at Shenzhen, they CAN fax or email a notice to the organizing committee confirming that they will pay for the annual service charge of USD200 on the next event he is invited or will attend.

13. Signage of 「Letter of Acceptance」
All players must agree and sign the 「Letter of Acceptance」 before being permitted to attend any event of China PGA Championship Tour. Any player fails to do so will be considered as 「waiving his right to attend all 2011 China PGA Championship Tour events at his own decision」, and subject to bear all consequence it may incur by himself. 「The rules and regulations」 will be published on our website: www.chinapgatour.com. All players should download 「The rules and regulations」 and read it through before signing the 「Letter of Acceptance」 on the spot when registering at the venue.
14. Expenses
1、Players are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and meal expenses.
2、Playing fee is subject to change for different venue and final notice.
3、 Driving range is free of charge for players within certain time period
during event week.
15. Standard of Dress
During any event, players should present a smart appearance in clothing. Whilst it is difficult to be specific, the following guidelines are for your reference
(1) Shirts: Collarless, sleeveless, shirts of a transparent material/design or shirts worn outside trousers are NOT acceptable.
(2) Trousers: Jeans are not permitted on the course, in the tournament office or any practice facility. Trousers may not be worn tucked into socks.
Penalty for breach: US$100/each time.
16. Alcohol Consumption
The consumption of alcohol on the course is not permitted during any practice round, Pro-Am or tournament round of an event.

17. Caddie Regulations
Caddies are the responsibility of the player employing them. Any breach of the following regulations will be deemed to be a breach by the player.Penalty for breach: US$100/each time:
(a) Misbehaviour by caddies of a personal nature which is generally unacceptable by normal social standards.
(b) Caddies are required to wear and display the caddie 『bib』 issued to them for the duration of the round.
(c) Caddies are not permitted to mark player’s scorecards.
(d) Caddies wearing golf shoes will not be permitted to walk on any putting
surface on the tournament course.
(e)At the tournament venue, players must utilize a caddie if available and this includes practice and Pro-Am days if so required. Pull carts may be used by caddies at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
All players are allowed to use their own caddies during a tournament. In general, written notice of use of a player’s own caddie is required to be sent to the Tournament Director a minimum of one week prior to the tournament.
18. Pace of Play
A player who has been timed under the our Pace of Play Conditions during any event, or the Pace of Play Conditions in force in a tournament, will incur a fine of US$100 on his 3rd 『bad time』 (unless this coincides with a fine for a breachof the Pace of Play Conditions). Each subsequent 『bad time』 will incur a fine of USD100.
19. Pro-Ams
The top 30 players on the Order of Merit of China PGA Championship Tours may be invited in sequence to attend our Pro-Ams.
Entries for tournaments with a Pro-Am will commit the player to participate in the Pro-Am (if invited) unless prior release is granted by the Director of Tour Operations/Tournament Director. Releases will normally be granted on medical or travel grounds only. Failure to play once requested will result in fine of US$100 leading to a possible cancellation of entry into the tournament on the 3rd occasion. It is the player’s responsibility to check if he has been invited to play in the Pro-Am. Should an invited player claim a medical reason for non appearance such a player will be ineligible to practice at the tournament course. The tournament Pro-Am will normally be held on the day preceeding the first day of the tournament start or such time as advised in the fact sheet. Players are reminded that the Pro-Am is for the benefit of sponsors and the amateur golfers. It is not an official practice day and players whilst playing in the Pro-Am should not measure the yardage on any tournament hole.
20. Etiquette and Code of Behaviour
(1)Failure to comply with normally accepted standards of courtesy and golf
Etiquette will result a penalty. This includes failure to repair divot marks, pitch marks and, in particular, the failure to ensure that a bunker is correctly raked after usage.
(2)During tournament, the following behaviour but not limited to is NOT
acceptable and may be subject to a penalty, dis-qualify from present
tournament or even from all events in 2011 season.
a) use of coarse language,
b) spitting on the course
c) causing damage to our advertisement boards on the course Penalty of breach: USD100/each time.A reimbursement will be imposed for all damage caused.
21. Yardage Book
Purchase of yardage book is at player’s own choice, however, the author’s intellectual property right must be protected. It is forbidden to copy yardage book for other players. Should such violation be found, a penalty of USD100 for each yardage book copied will be imposed against the acting player, and the player using it.
22. Film, Media and Other Property Rights
The television, radio, film, internet, statistical data and information and all other electronic media rights of all players participating in events are owned by the organizer. For the avoidance of doubt, it is a condition that all players offer such rights to the organizer. These rights have been assigned to the organizer. Noperson is authorized to make any use, commercial or otherwise, of the tour name or logo or images of players without the prior written approval of the organizer.
23. Film, Media and Public Relations
Players must comply with reasonable requests from the media officer from the Organizing Committee to attend the Press/Media Centre and co-operate with the media immediately upon completion of each tournament round. The champion must comply with his media obligation until 2 hours after the award ceremony. Should a champion fails to do so, he must offer a formal explanation to the media officer from the Organizing Committee.To ensure maximum goodwill, it is vital that competitors make every effort to support all public relations activities. Reproduction of players』 names, likenesses, performances and appearances and films and recordings of performance can be used by the tournament organizer and sponsors in relation to the promotion of the tour provided these activities do not refer to a direct endorsement of a commercial product or service.
24. Withdrawals
All withdrawals must be notified in writing to DYM Int』l Sports Development Holdings Ltd.
1、 If a withdrawal is notified prior to the entry closing date, USD50 will be
refunded.
2、 If a withdrawal is notified after the entry closing date, no refund.
3、 If a player is absent from the tournament without notification, no refund will be given and he may be punished subject to circumstances.
25. Official Recorders
Players must co-operate when asked for details of their scores by the Official Recorders on the course.
Note: The Scoreboard Officials are regarded as Official Recorders on the course.
26. General rules
China PGA Champions Tour Organizing Committee reserves all right to change or amend format, conditions, event schedule, and reject any entry at anytime.
27. Others
Entry Form(appendix2), Event Schedule (appendix3) , Letter of Acceptance (appendix 4) and Qualified Players List and Waiting List (appendix5)
All tournaments of China PGA Championship Tour will be held strictly in compliance with all rules and regulations issued by China Golf Association and China PGA Championship Tour Organizing Committee. Any violation of such rules and regulations will result warning, penalty, dis-qualifying from one or more events, and cancellation of professional golfer membership in punishment based on the nature, damage and influence of the incident.
China Golf Association reserves all rights for final explanation. All rules and regulations are subject to Chinese version.
