強調句的用法大家肯定已經很熟悉了，尤其是it做形式主語的強調句型。可是當句子裡有not…until…的時候，很多朋友還是會搞混。今天我就跟大家一起挖一挖not…until…的強調句用法。
強調句的結構很簡單，就是It is+被強調部分+that/who+…。比如陳述句：Tom lent me money when I was in trouble.我需要強調主語，句子就會寫成這樣：It was Tom who lent me money when I was in trouble.把我們要強調的部分Tom提前到that/who前面，然後其餘的部分按照原順序放在後面就好了。
可是，not…until…結構是不同的。它們是一體的，如果想要強調until後面的部分，不僅僅需要把until部分提前，還要把not一起提前才可。整個句子相應的也會有一點改變。例如：I didn’t realized that she was one of my classmates until she took off her sunglasses. 直到她脫下太陽鏡我才認識到她是我的一個同學。如果我們想要強調直到她脫下太陽鏡，該怎麼改呢？我們需要把not和until she took off her sunglasses一起提前到that前面。It was not until she took off her sunglasses that I realized that she was one of my classmates.
試將下列句子改為it is…that…強調句，強調until部分。
1: Tom didnt go to sleep until the programme was over.
2: Tom didn’t understand it until his teacher had explained it three times.
3: I won’t leave until you give me my money.
4: They didn’t begain the lunch until I came back.

1: It was not until the programme was over that Tom wen to sleep.
2: It was not until his teacher had explained it three times that Tom understood it.
3: It is not until you give me my money that I will leave.
