The 5th Edition of the Watercolor Biennial of Greece: "Watercolor International 5"

EligibilityOpen to artists 18 years and olderEntries must be original, created by the artist, under no supervision. Water-based media on watercolor paper, or synthetic papers. Digital Image EntriesUp to three images can be submittedArtwork images must be cropped to the actual watercolor image (no frame, mat, or background). Files must be jpg, 300dpi resolution, and 1100 pixels on the longest dimension.You can enter by sending your jpegs by email to wi5entries@gmail.comBe sure to include (in the email) also: 1. The name of the artist2. the title(s) of the watercolor(s) and size(s), 3. the payment reference / receipt (attached jpeg)
Format:Either quarter sheet (11x15 inches – 28x38cm) or half sheet (22x15 inches – 38x56cm).Only these two formats will be accepted.Entry Fee (non-refundable) with Pay Pal or bank wire transfer.30 euros for the first entry; 10 euros for each additional entry (up to three images can be submitted in total).Payments can be done through PayPal using the webpage: https://watercolorinternational.art/page/opencall2021 (or pay by PayPal directly to wi3participants@gmail.com)
Accepted EntriesAccepted artists will be posted on the WI5 website at www.watercolorinternational.art and in the blog: watercolorinternational5.blogspot.gr.If an entry is accepted into the show, it cannot be substituted with another entry. Shipping of Selected Watercolors – Fee of ParticipationIf an entry is accepted, then the participation fee (for the selected artists) is 55 euros. The selected watercolors must be shipped framed and ready to be hung.In order to reduce the shipping costs, there will be an alternative choice of shipping the painting without mat and unframed, flat or in a tube, to be framed in Greece, for a framing fee. Shipping back of the artwork after the exhibition is the responsibility of the artist (prepaid courier arrangement or other options will be discussed).
Liabilities While Watercolor International (WI) will do the best to ensure that no problem occurs with the artworks, neither WI, nor any receiving or working agent will be liable for lossor damage to any work of art submitted to this exhibition. Insurance is the responsibility of each individual artist. An exhibition catalog will be printed (also e-catalog issued) and Certificates will be issued for the participating artists.Many awards will given (cash awards and material awards).
