作為譯員,在一些活動上有時我們也需要同時擔任主持人和口譯員兩種身份,所以下面我們就來看下作為會議主持,需要掌握哪些必備的英語吧。
不過在進入正題前,我想先給大家科普一個小知識,因為很多人一說到主持人就只想到Host,但英文裡表示「主持人」的單詞也是有所不同的,為了不混淆,下面我們先來快速地看一下~
"Anchor"主要指在無線電節目或者廣播節目裡的主持人,一般多用於在現場直播中或者電視節目中擔任主持的人,也可以作為動詞,表示主持節目。
He anchored the evening news.
他主持過晚間新聞。
"commentator"在英語中指在電視節目中進行新聞報導或者討論新聞的人,也指在現場活動中提供評論的人,也就是評論員或解說員。
A commentator is a person who comments or expresses an opinion on a subject.
評論員是指對某一主題發表評論或表達意見的人。
不同於電視節目的主持,"host"多用於主持某種活動的時候,具有主動去做的意思。除此之外,該詞還可以做名詞,表示主人。
