Maria終於得到Nikolai的示愛時，我一大老爺們心中小鹿亂撞，編劇真是仁慈，給了Maria原著裡得不到的容貌與真愛。

沙皇時代的貴族男女也夠可憐，要麼為了富貴榮華淪為家庭聯姻的工具，要麼為了脫俗榮譽成為沙皇消耗的棋子。難得有幾個心善的爵爺，比如Pierre，長年累月的富足與和平，閹割了他們對危險的感知力，嗷嗷待宰而不自知，再過幾十年又要遭遇蘇維埃鐵拳，最好的結局不過是《莫斯科紳士》。

其實所有的主人公都是小眾群體，大多數人只能投胎成像Pierre遇到的那個農民階層，沒有選擇生活的權利。應該去學習的也是那個農民，他選擇了快樂的去接受和忍受苦難的自由，便未辜負「生而為人」。

關於導演偏愛的Natasha，雖然生氣但沒什麼好指責，單純簡單又懷有火山般熾熱待發感情的花季少女，身處前景未知的異地戀，遇到專家級的調情高手Anatol，有幾個能不淪陷，後面的救贖與無耐，只能感觸造化弄人，這樣的悲喜生活中一直在上演。
